Played for 3 hours, unlike any show I’ve ever been at before, honest, eccentric, distracted. Amazing musican with the voice of an angel.
Lovely concert! It was nice seeing Mick in person. He sounds as good live as in the studio. He was friendly and chatty with the audience; felt organic and not performative.
The venue is perfect for a small intimate concert.
Next time, you should be one of the lucky ones!
Her “fresh tights girls” violinist, and cellist were angelic. We came from rural Nebraska USA to see this show. And lovely Ireland too of course. Will be talking about this performance for quite some time I’m sure. Top notch
Amazing set, I’m so happy that Girl Behind the Glass made it on for this tour. The openers were great and we weren’t waiting around for too long before Wunderhorse came on. They sounded great and had so much passion. They really know how to put on a show and sound amazing. The way they play is so natural and it’s so impressive to watch. This was my second time seeing them and they haven’t come close to disappointing. I had a great time however I think some of the moshing was a bit over the top and forced, that’s my only complaint other than that, and incredible gig!
Rend collective is the best Christian Irish band. So joyful, I really enjoy since the begining to the end, ever song full of hope. The singer voice is impressive, the instruments playing are perfect. Praise God for this wonderful band.
The venue staff were lovely and I loved the intimacy of the space!
FIZZ were amazing. I had such an incredible night. Wish I could relive it all!
Amazing, 12 years since I saw they the first time and 24 or 25 times I saw they live it's incredible how they keep getting better and better...
3rd time seeing Mary Wallopers prev Nov 22 National Stadium and June 23 in the Academy. Sound was off/not good. Seamus the accordionist was absent no mention of same and his presence was missed. Airing new tracks The Idler and Heaven's Gate were excellent. Studio quality. The tribute to Shane MacGowan was fantastic Streams of Whiskey. Great to see /hear Home boys Home live. C
What an entertaining experience. The opening act,Henry Wagon, was a breath of fresh air. He could in fact be the love child of Mick jagger and Jim Morrison, with Keith Moon as his spirit animal.
As for The Dead South Live in Vicar Street... As good as Live music gets.
Stick them on your bucket list.
Super tight and slick as ever, Cory and Co brought it big time. Loads of Vulfpeck material in the show, which is never a bad thing.
i’ve only been to two concerts lol but this was the best one so far. emma slayed and her band??! guitarists, keyboardist and drummer were amazing, i was so mesmerised. the opening act, trophy wife, was just as incredible, truly talented people. my first time at the venue and it’s a very nice place and i had funny interactions with the security, all staff were so kind. 5/5 experience overall.
Fantastic show, my second one so far. They didn’t disappoint. Their performance was up to scratch as usual. I do miss Lexxi, but Spyder is great replacement. Hope to see them again in few years.
My baker’s dozen Christy Moore show since 1995, first time at Vicar Street. As good as Bruce or Dylan I’d say. Perfect set and that twofer of Back Home in Derry in to “women are being strip searched in Armagh Gaol tonight floored the room. Young crowd too - nice to see taste has not evaporated entirely. Spancil Hill to end the show was just perfect. GRMA Christy - principled, talented and sincere all island troubadour.
We thought it was a great concert, which we have been looking forward to for a long time. We came especially for this concert from Brussels. Unfortunately, we had bad seats in Block A of the Vicar Street venue. On some songs the bass and bass drum predominated and those songs sounded very bad, at least on our seats. Fortunately there is now the live CD, although the record was nowhere to be found in Dublin last Saturday.
We really enjoyed the concert, the staff were very friendly at the venue,,
Luke was brilliant ,,but I wish he sang the song 'Killing Me'. I bought his new CD ,,
Great night ,
Ronan was on great form and performed a great mixture of his and Boyzone hits. The only downside was the audio setup in the venue which was really poor.
Really great performance, the only fault was that the venue was so crowded which made it difficult to move. Absolutely no fault of the Midnight’s.
As good as you'd expect. Good tunes, good atmosphere, good women.
watchin' them kinda give those "hard time killing floor blues", but you get over it pretty quick
It was one of the best shows I have gone too. They know how to rock! 🤘If they come over again I am gonna see them!
Incredible😩 When he came out to the crowd to perform kill someone i was right next to him❤️ His music is incredible and the people working at the venue were great👌
