If you get a chance to see Wayne and don't go? You're a straight lunatic, lol. Seeing Wayne will reaffirm that indeed-there are still great shows for under $50, and that true musicianship exists! Seeing Texaco on this your was a treat too. Don't have regrets in life, go see Wayne Hancock!
Mind blowing & amazing!! Sad it took me so long to see them, but I'll be prioritizing this band from now on!
If you can catch them? Do it! You'll be hella stoked!
As with their previous show at The Southgate House, this was exceptional! Libby and the gang performed much of their new album as well as crowd favorites! Also the opening acts were phenomenal! Lightin Luke pulled double duty to everyone's delight. And this was our first time getting to experience Katacombs and Holy Locust and they did not disappoint! Both are amazing and talented. 10 out of 10 experience!
Awesome venue! The acoustics were great and the staff super nice. AOTS was awesome of course, as were Sister Wife Sex Strike and Run Rabbit Run, which was new to me. Would definitely see them all again and visit Southgate House Revival again.
Had the pleasure of not only seeing George at Southgate, but seeing him the previous week in Knoxville. Great shows both times and also getting to meet and talk to George at each of the venues. If you ever have a chance to see him live please do so.
The show was amazing. Can't wait for the new album to come out. I am a big fan of this band. Meet all of them after the show great group of guys.
His shows are always really great but last nights show was yet another great example of an artist who is always pushing his artistic abilities. Superb performance. His opening act was a great choice and Hello Darling harmonies were a perfect match!!
It was wonderful to see Matty with a full band. He’s never sounded better and the accompaniment really filled out the performance. This was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen in any venue.
Our first concert at Southgate and will not be our last. Easy entry and walkable from The Levee.
Can't say enough good things about Mike and the Moonpies as well as Justin Wells and Erin Viancourt!!
Absolutely awesome! Everything was awesome.. the venue is an old rehabbed church with cool stained glass windows. The crowd was full of positive vibes, all there to have a good time together much like a community, everyone was watching out for the person next to them and really having a great time together. The staff was super friendly, welcoming and on their game. Last, but certainly not least, the band that brought all of us together.. Agent Orange!! They were exactly what everyone was expecting, if not more. They put together a great set that left nobody out of the loop, from the old-school (like myself), to the younger-up & coming lovers of the West Coast punk scene that exploded in the early-mid 80's, Agent Orange brought their own brand of pipeline punk and delivered damn right! Mike, the frontman/singer/songwriter is as real and down to earth as they come.. keeping the antiestablishment and grounded mindset that makes Agent Orange the legendary status punk band they are! Thank you for keeping it real !!!
Great show! Mixed in a few songs from other artists with several of his own great songs. Took requests during his solo acoustic section of the show. Played all my MR favorites, plus a new song that was great! The venue was very cool.
Hope if comes back to the Cincinnati area again!
Love hearing a Fresh Raspy Voice, that is just Different. This Talented Musician I enjoyed More than the Opening Act. (Kelsey Waldon, who I didn't think appreciated me coming to see her) Oh, Boy !!!
Fabulous!!!
Took my son (22) who lives In Cincinnati.
He’d never seen them.
He loved them too.
Great venue.
My wife and I try to see them any time they are within a few hundred miles of our new home in Lexington, Kentucky.
Josh Rouse and co put on an amazing show, interacting with the fans in the intimate environment, but more importantly captivating with his music. One of my favorite shows by one of my favorite artists
Man what a great show!! Them boys should be millionaires. Lyrical geniuses I would say. They sound better live than I do on record. Down to earth good guys they like my tattoo so they had a picture with me. Hopefully they come back sometime soon I'd pay the money.
Such an amazing and beautiful venue! The stained glass as the sun went down was beautiful! Acoustics were amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful as well! Would love to see more shows at venue. TWL is always amazing and puts on such an emotional, fun and interactive show.
Excellent performance. Love her lyrics and she reminds you of artists like John Prine ( my favorite artist ) or a Harry Chapin who can tell a story and take you with them on the ride. Really enjoyed it. Drove 90 minutes to see her for the 1st time live and am really glad i did
Always real solid performance. If you haven’t seen Mike Zito you should because it won’t be long before he and Albert Castiglia are drawing much larger crowds for more money than they are currently asking for there shows. I saw Joe Bonamassa for less than 10$ many times years ago thinking he would eventually make it and he did. Good seat 100$. Mike and Albert are going to do the same thing so go now to see them. Small venues are the place to catch the great before everybody knows they’re great. I saw Stevie Ray Vaughn in Golden Nugget Saloon in Baytown, Texas before he was get big big bucks for show. Go now to see them you be glad you did!!!
Was an awesome show and an amazing venue!! Loved that we were able to bring in the New Year with our favorite group of guys! Ward, Clint and Josh always put on an amazing show!
Dylan’s opening set was a very intimate and engaging performance. Second time I have seen him performing but the first time in a long while. Cautionary tale and if the creek don’t rise were excellent, closing with a nice cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “big love”.
Night Moves was a pleasant surprise. Had just come across this 70’s retro band, who actually sound better live. Strands alive, Carl Sagan, and colored emotions were highlights. Can’t find much on the band and it’s members but the lead singer is a very talented singer and musician, making the most out of some very cool pedal effects. The band really seemed to connect to the audience. I recommend seeing both bands if you get the chance.
