I love Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy! They got some solid songs and always put on a wild show! I recommend catching their show any time they're within your vicinity!
Awesome as alway! The Dollyrots played a total of 15 songs from their catalog and they were all dope AF. After the show they graciously met with the fans to sign autographs and take selfies with. I highly recommend this show.
Great voice, great violinist /backup vocals..guitar playing excellent. What a talent!
2 hour show full of bangers. Be sure to get there for the opening act. Nicolette and the nobodies are excellent as well.
Jim Lauderdale's show was extremely impressive. He is a brilliant singer and songwriter but also very charismatic. He had the audience in the palm of his hands with a wide variety of incredible songs that ranged from heartbreak to hope with both funny and often very moving lyrics. Not to mention his world class guitar playing. The show was joyful and fun and everyone loved it.
Pure vibes - Killer show / night of Live Reggae!!!
Mystic & his band are awesome and Singer Adriya Joy is literally full of joy & positivity!
So much positive energy from all three bands- and the Dollyrots had their kids perform on stage and met with fans afterwards- Truly Awesome!
Best show I been to this year and first time seeing them
Cheryl Wheeler is a National Treasure. Her wonderful writing style, music, and introductory stories are unmatched by any other musician. I’ve heard her play from Falcon Ridge to Ridgefield Playhouse and now in the intimate Cafe Nine. A tremendous treat every time and she always has new stories and new songs to surprise even her most dedicated fans. Kenny White’s virtuoso piano playing added a new unobtrusive dimension to many of her songs and his solo introductory session included his own songs with very creative and clever lyrics about current issues.
The Goddam Gallows are the most effective antidepressant, every time.
I personally invited half dozen friends and relatives to attend the Soraia show. They trusted that I knew this would be a fantastic concert. I can tell you the show exceeded all expectations. Not only did the band wow everyone. But some of them now want to join my wife and I when we go to the NYC show in a few weeks. My brother became an instant fan. He was so impressed he wanted us to drive up to Somerville MA THE NEXT DAY to see them again. And he’s a critic! The band was outstanding. Zou Zou Mansour is a star, and I am just so excited to have seen her in action. She came over and said hello to my group, she was gracious, she was funny, it was a super fun experience. So good!
Favorite band! Two amazing openers too! SG Carlson and pocket vinyl! Bombadil never disappoints! Cafe nine is quaint with easy parking , friendly staff and cold beers! Until next time Bombadil!
Love the show. Could be a little longer. One hour is short.
What a blues master. Incredible guitar and soul penetrating voice and a nice guy to talk to after the show. Been waiting for a chance to see him for a while and it did not disappoint.
Blistering set from beginning to end. Loved every minute.
He was great, solo, great tunes, stories. Fun night. CAFE Nine in New Haven is great as well.
Fun show played with the Wooster St brass band who pizzaed their way into the set
With the addition of sax and trombone the set was mostly funk . Great musician made it a funky delight
Amazing show; energetic, captivating, insightful, beautiful, joyful, scary, funny, sad, great music... when keepin’ it real goes right. These two women are full of talent and creativity, catch them if you can.
One of the best shows I’ve seen at Cafe 9. The band was super fun and friendly. I can’t wait to see them again next summer. They went above and beyond giving me swag for my daughter who couldn’t attend. Just awesome people.
