As a young teen, my mom's then BF knew a box office guy at golf mill in the round in niles. So, we'd get to watch the entire show during sound checks and dress rehearsals on Tuesdays of each week. The bands that performed there in the 70s were mostly motown originals other mostly black talent aside from the music. So, my mom's BF would pick my brother and I up from school and whisk us away to the long gone theater in the round that rotated giving the entire audience a chance to see the artist on stage full on and back again. So, long story short, we got to see most of motown originals perform from the Jackson Five who introduced 9 yo Janet Jackson, Bill Cosby, Bill Withers, Aretha Franklin, the Stapleton Singers, The Temptations, The O'Jays etc. It was a great time to be alive in the 70s. True musicians. To get to last night's venue, I drove the scenic route along Lake Michigan to get to the Horseshoe Casino. It was a long and winding road through downtrodden parts of Chicago and Indiana. I arrived at the venue, and I'd selected and paid for a 4th row, center seat. It was well worth the money. I got a close-up and personal view of all band members. It's shocking to see how young looking some of the original band members of those two groups; The Temptations and The Four Tops look. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The sound, lighting, and performances were all spot on. I'd see them again for sure. If you like motown and wish to walk down Hitsville, Motor City, Motown, and Detroit memory lane, then buy a ticket the next time, this way, they come.
His show was Non Stop laughing. 1st time ever seeing Gary Owens and would definitely go see him again. Thank you making my 1st experience seeing you a memorable memory.
Excellent venue and KC and The Sunshine Band put on an awesome concert. KC signed my yearbook from Hialeah High while on stage. He graduated from Hialeah High. I also had a backstage pass to meet him and her a pic of him and I.
He was awesome ! Venue was confortable , only down side is , if you don’t smoke you’ll be bothered by the smell of smoke , besides that concert was awesome !

It’s was nice. There was great energy and the DJ that played while we were seated and waiting was awesome. Nelly had great energy but we only got snippets of most songs because he only had city spud with him. It was a little short but still a good time. He was very nice to upfront and even took their phones and did videos from the stage with them as he performed
As good as ever!!! Sammy sounded great and he owned the stage. Michael Anthony, Vic and Jason Bohemian blow the dust off the stage. They all just rocked the Horseshoe Casino and blew the doors off the Venue.
Great show, great room & sound, but man… you have to wait in line to get in longer than normal and wait to get out on the parking garage. If you have the time go for it! Get there early.
Every band did a great job. The venue was cool, but the way it was handled with getting people in was meh. It took longer than what it should have. But seriously, go see these bands.
LS was amazing as expected!
The venue was the letdown. There appeared to be little organization. You would wait in a 30 minute line to only get told you have to go to another 30 minute line to get a different wristband, etc..
I’m not sure if they expected a crowd this big.

The show itself wasn’t bad. Lorna Shore, Gojira, and Mastodon all put on killer shows. However, there was a girl who was obviously way too intoxicated, starting fights (not trying to mosh, actually fight people) with everyone in the pit near the stage, and the venue kept serving her alcohol, even though she could barely stand. Security did jack shit about it even though multiple people were fed up with her shit. If these bands come to Indiana again, I implore them to pick a better venue.
EXCELLENT show!!! My first time seeing Lalah Hathaway and she was phenomenal!!! She was the middle act and then returned for a duet with Boney James. Whoever put this trio together (Damien Escobar, Lalah Hathaway and Boney James) knows their stuff!! It was a fabulous evening!!!
Nick was in fine voice & Los Straightjackets are perfectly paired as the opener for Elvis Costello & The Imposters. Elvis was also in fine voice, although material he played could’ve been more.
Ledisi gave an excellent show! She has such a positive personality she is the absolute bomb! I will definitely go to se her again.
My love for Fantasia won’t allow me to give anything less than 5 stars. She is a true performer. I’ve been to just about every concert she’s had in the Chicago/Indiana area and this performance was the shortest one. I’m going to see her again in November in NY, so I’ll compare times then. I still love her and hope to one day sit and talk with her. I’ve met her before, but that encounter was brief. I would love to sit and talk.
War came on stage and from the getgo took no prisoners. I hadn’t realized how much I had missed their live shows since I last saw them in the late 1960’s. They were engaging, funny, had people dancing in the aisles while hitting us with one great song after another. I left this concert with my soul energized!
It was freaking amazing as usual... Ginuwine gave his all to his fans. He genuinely shows how much he loves us and that is very much appreciated... LOVE HIM SO MUCH... ❤️ ❤️ #WINE
Love AFL. Incredible voice. I prefer country over alternative rock so this style AFL is my jam! Will see him as many times as I can make work. I could listen to him live everyday, his voice soothes my soul! 😁
I love everything about this woman & her artistry. India's voice was immaculate & she got the audience involved. Her clothes were beautiful & the band was on point.
