Always love Shed Seven live and the guys did not disappoint. It was extra special being in the audience at the end of a very successful tour and an even more successful year. A lot of hard work had been met with gold so congratulations to all involved! Rick is so good at connecting with the crowd and the entire band seemed to be enjoying the moment. The crowd were chasing rainbows all the way back to the tube station!
The Chappell Roan Concert was amazing. She did not disappoint, infact we think she sounded better live. Her voice is so hauntingly addictive! The classics just kept coming, one after the other! Not many artists can get away with just the the lights, the music and her voice, no fancy gimmicks! Oh except the wind machine 🤩
Can I also say, the venue 02 Academy Brixton, were amazing! I felt that the whole staff cared about the patrons, their well being and safety. So well organised, efficient and safe. Some staff went out of their way to help us with access needs and ensured we were safe going in and exiting the venue. The venue is unique in decor, quite gothic! I understand why Chappell Roan chose the venue. It felt personal and up close, even though we were two rows from the back in the circle.
The only thing I would say, is ,as myself and my daughter are both very short. once everyone stood up as soon as the music began, our ability to see was reduced and I spent the whole time holding onto my daughter standing on the seat and watching through my phone camera 😔. However, the sound quality was superb in the venue.
An immersive atmosphere, great from the moment we arrived at the venue, with all the fans complying to the dress code of 'Kink is Karma' for Thursday evening show! 6 out of 5 stars !! 🤩
Absolutely beautiful. Also doubled as a comedy show. She’s was so kind to the crowd and magnificent to watch. I would have left empty handed if it wasn’t for the people handing out the posters who stopped me in the hectic crowd at the exit. It was a beautiful night and everyone was so nice. I saw her live again at The Hyde park with Duran Duran and she was just as wonderful there too. I would definitely recommend.
In Flames were amazing! Great performance and and a great setlist. They kind of played one song from each album. The crowed was good too, singing along all the choruses of Only for the weak, Alias and I am above.
The rest of the bands tried their best, but didn't have the sound on their side. Especially the legendary At The Gates, you could easily talk over them without having to put any effort to raise your voice.
I wish the set was a bit longer and had more of the old classics. All in all great quality performance.
Venue-wise, upon entrance and security checks we got treated like an animal herd. Also I wish there was security in the crowd as there was a couple of drunk men behind us trying to grind on me and my other girl friends, which made us uncomfortable and we couldn't enjoy the show 100% as we had to tell them off and look out for each others' backs.
The band was good for sure, I love them. But there were two point I want to say. First was the audio control. In such a big tall and wide hall, there were definitely way too much REVERB and he put to much on low pitch where the drums and bass are. This made the vocal sound really blur and hard to hear. However, the high pitch was too low which made the guitar sound plain and flat. Second, there were too many dumbass there. An aged man hit me in the arm when I took out my phone to check my messages. I’m sure he had assumed that I was trying to take photos. But this is super impolite and I can take this as an insulting behavior and a sign of he wanted to starting a fight. What is more, there were really a quarrel (I am not sure if they had fought by which one of my friend in the front said so) happened during the show later lollll. Way much more for them to improve.
VIP was worth every penny! Got a personal Q&A, where VIP members were asking In Flames band questions, all of the members got a personal picture taken with a band, the band itself was so down on earth, afterwards we got an opportunity to get the merch first and we got the signed set list as well as signed limited edition poster as well!!! I loved it all and I recommend to see In Flames or even get the VIP as well!!!
One Night Only was the best night of my life. He seemed so happy and overwhelmed with the love that we greeted him with. Such a small and intimate venue made the experience 100x better. Hearing Grapejuice, Little Freak, Matilda and Love Of My Life live for the first time was indescribable (along with the rest of the album) and getting to scream SOTT at the top of my lungs along with 2,000 other people was simply a surreal experience.
Venue is AMAZING! Sound was GREAT. Sworn Enemy was great opener, than Municipal Waste, fast and furious! Than come Anthrax... This is their 40th year in the business. So many great albums, so many great songs. They could and they should have set of 20+ songs for at least two hours show, as this tour was only in UK with 8 concerts.
Apart from sound and delivery, which was great, I was and I am extremely disappointed in setlist!

This was my fifth or sixth Anthrax concert, I've lost count, and at all those shows they are playing 5 songs from Among The living?!?!? Hello! This is not 1987! There are lots of great songs you should play! From Persistence Of Time just one song!?!?!? From State Of Euphoria one cover!?!??! Same for Worship Music!?!??! From the actual album NOT A SINGLE ONE?!?!?!?
For me this is not celebration of 40 years long career, it was once again celebration of Among The Living!!! Guys move on!!!! I am sick of those songs!! I have payed 45 pounds for a ticket at I got once again 5 same old songs from Among The Living?!?!? This is robbery and insult to the fans!!!
As an avid and veteran gig-goer (my first metal show being the first UK Ozzfest in 1998), I like to think I know a thing or two about big rock concerts.
I've been watching Arch Enemy for more than 2 decades now - I've seen them at least once on every European tour they've done since Burning Bridges was released.
This show was hands down the best I've ever seen them, and one of the best gigs I've ever attended in my life.
Arch Enemy are a band at the top of their (or anyone else's) game. Do not pass up the chance to see them on this tour.
All the Bands that night were great, but BEHEMOTH were simply awesome. The sound at Brixton Academy was brilliant that night, loud but very well mixed, no buzzing ears at all. And WHAT A SHOW!!! You could feel the heat ftom the pyrotechnics upstairs!
One of the best concerts I’ve been to
since Meshuggah at the Albert Hall.
Drinks prices….oh dear. A double Jack Daniels £9.25 - and we know that English measures are more like a single shot anywhere else...and they ran out of ice. The bar staff was great though, quick and very friendly.
I am 53, and have had the pleasure of seeing bands such as The Who, Queen, Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Oasis etc
I have also seen the 2 tone / ska legends that are The Specials, The Beat, Selecter, Bad Manners and Madness all in various incarnations over the years.
Not one of them has put on a performance so full of energy and positivity that I witnessed at Brixton thanks to The Interrupters.
Absolutely smashed it into pieces - easily in my top 3 gigs of all time 😎❤️
loved Rhoda Dakar’s guest appearance for her emotional Brixton Academy debut ❤️🏁❤️
Have waited 2 years to see these guys tour the uk 🇬🇧- I’m hoping and praying they come back again soon.
I’m
Judging by the crowd reaction - I’m not alone
London Brixton Academy is only the second Helloween show on a world tour twice postponed because of the pandemic. If there are any cobwebs still to shake off after such a long absence from performing, the band don't let it show.
This is a phenomenal gig. Kiske and Deris are in mighty vocal form, belting out tunes from Helloween's illustrious back catalogue as well as trying out some newer cuts from the latest album. Gerstner, Grosskopf, Hansen and Weikath form an extraordinary front line of world class guitarists and drummer Dani Loble's a machine. At one point I swear I saw three arms.
For me there's not enough new music on display tonight to mix in with all the staples (I'm presuming that dropping 'Dr Stein' and 'I Want Out' from the set list might get the band lynched) but 'Skyfall' and 'Mass Pollution' from the new album are standout tunes with the latter being a certified banger.
It's glorious, joyful, outstanding. Helloween has London Brixton Academy in the palm of its hands tonight. Welcome back, gentlemen. We've missed you.
Loved it! TØP are among the best performers out there, Tyler puts his all into every performance and brings out the sort of energy that keeps you dancing and singing all evening even after walking 23k steps in London all day! The steward next to us was lovely and the crowd were lovely too (though that’s what you can expect from tøp fans!). Can’t recommend it enough and I know I’ll be following them next UK tour!
Harry was nothing short of AMAZING! I expected nothing less from him and he didn't disappoint.
Love Brixton academy as a venue as I far prefer the smaller more intimate venues but gone are the days that fans just enjoy the show. I found myself having to watch him via other people's phone screens.
A sea of phones videoing everything all through spoilt the experience for me a bit.
Get a life people enjoy the moment and let others do the same.
The gig was superb as ever Lauren and the boys did everything they could to make it an exciting performance. Lauren spent most of the night moving across the stage so she covered every area of the audience.
The encore included Robert Smith shambling onto the stage ( complete with guitar with UKRAINIAN FLAG and the Fibonacci sequence on it) and effortlessly delivering both vocals and guitar , a real maybe even surreal bonus for everyone. Fantastic night
It was so amazing although Melanie was 2 hours late it was worth it our opening was Naaz i was at the first row and i got a picture with Naaz and i met her Melanie was so beautiful and her amazing angelic voice at Strawberry Shortcake and Orange juice they putted a spray setting it smelled amazing we also had Fire Drill and two songs from the Cry baby album Alphabet boy and Mad hatter i was so blessed Melanie touched a fan’s hand at Fire Drill and she took out the pride rainbow flag I remember at orange juice she was squeezing and throwing a orange and the peels THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE if you go there please remember to go very early because past the time they’re going to lock you out you don’t really need to bring with you water because the guards gave us and if you want the confetti at fire drill you can as the guard to give you some like i did and i still have it if you get VIP like i did you will get early access and a bag full if goodies e.g a K-12 hat K-12 pencils a K-12 bag a K-12 notebook and remember to bring money because they also sold some merchandise clothes I remember getting the VIP for m&g but it didn’t have m&g it had to days later at a mall that Melanie didn’t announce but her company did i think on tweeter at the concert someone had a panic attack so please if you get panic attacks be careful and people were fainting but the life guards got them and now their ok REMEMBER be very early
I got stuck at the very back row, but I'm not complaining. The dances were awesome, and (even though most of the K-12 songs were likely pre-recorded) Melanie's singing was absolutely beautiful! At the end of the show she played some songs from Crybaby for the encore, and finished with Copycat. During the dance for Orange Juice, the room was filled with an orange scented spray that made the whole venue smell amazing, and Strawberry Shortcake I think she sprayed her perfume, which was an amazing touch to the show! The stage setup and the different costumes were so awesome, and I wish I had been a little closer to get the full experience, but Melanie is so awesome at shows, so if you ever get the chance to get some tickets - it is definitely worth it🧚♀️
Great Show, Hypocrisy was a great opener and Arch Enemy blew the roof off before Amon could start. Think it will be Arch Enemy’s turn to headline Brixton Academy whilst Amon move up to Wembley as they did not have enough room for their insane props and pyrotechnics. One of the greatest bands in Heavy Metal history can only keep moving up and growing. Anyone that hasn’t seen Amon before cannot afford to miss them on their next tour🤘🏻
Friday night gig ,all the ingredients were there for a fantastic evening,2 support bands which I got to say were superb and built the evening up perfectly to what we'd come to see..Halestorm were everything I expected live and 10 times more,a heavy sound that pulsated the theatre and at times seemed to shake the very seat you were sat on.
Lzzy Hale is the ultimate front woman for a band ,she's got the lot...looks,vocal range, guitar and could hold the crowd in the palm of her hand
I took my son and it was his first gig of any kind and even though this is not his particular genre he is now hooked
I'd like to thank all the bands for a special evening
The only downside was we lost our used ticket stubs and being a avid music fan I'd collected 35 years of of concert ticket stubs and this one is going to be missing
I've still got the memories I suppose
