SO GOOD ! So much energy from Roger and the band and the crowd throwing it right back at them. This is the third time I’ve seen them in the last year. So impressed with the bands attitude. They are so happy to be out playing. As I talked with people before and after the show I’m amazed by extremely loyal fan base. If you get the opportunity catch a show.
Love Junior Brown, unfortunately the venue of Gruene Hall not the optimal place to see him. Crowded, bad acoustics, no speakers to the people forced to sit outside, couldn't even see anything of Junior except a glimpse of his head once in awhile, what with all the overdone cowboy hats in the way. Had never been to gruene dance hall before for music; won't be going back. Junior Brown is top notch, however, go see him at a regular bar or concert venue, not a dance hall. And no one was dancing anyway.
They say there is no such thing as a stupid question, but to ask "How was the Clay Walker show?" is getting pretty close to proving that statement wrong. As ALWAYS, Clay Walker refuses to disappoint and put on an incredible show. Gruene Hall was rocking and the evening was full of energy and excitement!
Clay, thanks again for an awesome show! God bless and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Miranda Dawn and Chris Hawkes are always excellent! It has been a long while since we saw them last and they just continue to get better and better. They had the “family” band at Gruene Hall and that’s my fave! Always adds a nice touch. So much fun!!!!
What a show. Jason is great. Now he is the kind of country I like. He rolls and drags out those notes to perfection. His music is terrific to dance to. I wish more people would dance.
We had a ball. Thanks for bringing him to Gruene Hall and New Braunfels.
Aaron delivered a fantastic Christmas show! He was 100% genuine and poured his heart and soul into the show! Mostly Christmas music, but he treated us to some of his great hits and a few from others... like the George Strait covers! His whole family was involved... loved seeing him with his talented children. There was only one drawback. Seating would have been so nice. It was a family show, and Gruene Hall doesn't normally provide seating, but they really need to start thinking about it. I attended a Christmas show there a couple of years ago, and they had seating. It was SO nice! Many of us are older and can't stand for multiple hours. Aaron even noted that the children couldn't see, and so he offered to stay late and let everyone take pictures. He was so nice. Aaron is an artist who still enjoys what he's going and it shows during his performances!!
This was by far the best night of my life! I was lucky enough to get front row and received a guitar pick, set list handed to me personally from his dad, he signed my hat, and jumped in the crowd to take a picture with me then got back on stage. His dad came and shook my hand to thank me for knowing every word. I have not stopped talking about this amazing night and never will! This was my 4th time to see him and man was it awesome!
It was hot, although not as hot as the band, always love me some Wilder Blue live! Thank you guys for being so talented and personable. Will cherish my souvenirs that I will add to my collection.
God bless you guys and will catch again when you get back close to home.
This was my third time seeing Randall LIVE.
He really gives us everything he has! TONKIN' like a superstar and humble as the boy next door!
It was my birthday, and some really nice people gave me a free ticket as a gift at the door cause the show was SOLD OUT! I also got a copy of his first album on vinyl!!! WTF? Yeehaw!
BEST BIRTHDAY ever!
Can't wait until the next time!
Well first of all iconic Gruene Hall is a very unique place to visit! We've been a few times and it always delivers the nostalgic step back in time you were hoping for! Their motto; Cold Beer! Live Music! Cash ONLY!!!
Jack has never disjointed; We've seen him perform at sold out giant venues, to the tiny Arlington Music Hall where he did an impromptu show for about 25 lucky people, right after doing a full set in front of a sold out crowd at the BIG house!
But there's just something about seeing one of your favorite performers at Gruene Hall that will get you; right in the gut! it just feels right! Jack sounded great as always! he give it all sweating his ass off in the un-airconditioned old place, never misses a beat, like he's still 25! It's so awesome hearing the crowd sing along the the favorites; But FINALLY I got to see him do "Drinkin Through IT" LIVE!! totally one of my fav's! I always cry when he sings TinMan...This makes the 4th time we've seen him live within the last 10 months...we've seen him at least 8 times and He put it all out there at Gruene Hall! OUTSTANDING JACK!! LOVE YOU ALWAYS!
one of the most amazing shows Ever!! MMC were energetic and musically wonderful in last night’s performance.
they completely flipped their set list and opened with “Tonight we Ride” which is usually played late in the set or as an encore. they played “Road to you” late in the set, for the past 4 years this tune has been used as the opening song. after 90 mins they came back on stage for a 3 song encore to a celebratory response from the crowd that was so into the show!
After discovering The Mavericks 14 months ago, I’ve now seen them 12 times plus two solo shows with lead singer Raul Malo.
Mavericks fans follow this band all over the country and internationally. This band puts on a live show that will rock your world.
Gruene Hall is one of the band’s favorite venues and all THREE nights of their 2022 adventure were so much fun. No better way to celebrate the New Year than with The Mavericks and fellow fans!
The concert was great! Aaron was very interactive with the crowd. Aaron sang a good number of his songs a few from other artists. Love that he and his band were there to give a great show! Also love that he is not afraid to incorporate his faith into his shows.
Great show as always. Unfortunately the alcohol consumption is always out of hand. Hard to enjoy the music when the venue will not cut people off and they are constantly bumping into others. Gruene Hall, yall need to focus on the quality of the crowd and sho and less of the quantity of drunks you turn loose on the streets afterwards.
This show was incredible! My husband and I have been Zane fans for many years and have followed The Wilder Blue since the beginning. We’ve been to a handful of their shows over the last several months and they were all great, but the atmosphere at a SOLD OUT Gruene Hall is bar none! It was definitely our favorite Wilder Blue show to date.
Incredible band that hadn't lost a step in the THIRTY years since I had seen them last. Most of the crowd was around my age; which was expected although some younger faces scattered throughout. Very glad to see this band together again for this tour. My hope is their is newfound fire to continue after.
I have wanted to see Asleep at the Wheel since I was a teenager. I will say it was worth the decades of waiting!! They are all talented musicians individually...but combined are mind-blowing. Ray Benson sounds phenomenal and is a true entertainer.
Fantastic show, starting with his nephew Mason and the Gulf Coast Drifters. Roger and band was outstanding, entertainment, love that squeeze box. When Rogers dad came out and performed, the crowd loved it, Definitely worth the 6hr drive from Oklahoma..
Keep it up, wonderful to see such Talent.

I'd seen Jon perform a couple of times- this was by far the best performance I've ever seen him give. I don't know if it was because it was Gruene Hall or if it was a Saturday night show or the packed house, or that his lovely bride was in attendance or all of the above...but the show was great. Jon seemed very engaged and open to the audience- got a little emotional and shared some things on his heart- which was a change of pace. The setlist was an honest sample of his library IMO. There was plenty of fast paced tunes and plenty of his more soft, romantic tunes. Anyway, not to ramble on- but this show had everything you'd want in a country show at Gruene Hall. Raise a glass to Juan Lobo. Also, getting engaged less than an hour to downbeat helped us have a great night too.
A great show by one of the seminal bands in rock history!!! Los Lobos never fail to entertain!! I’ve been a fan since their major label debut album, How Will The Wolf Survive?, came out in 1984. It’s a shame and a travesty that Los Lobos are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Since 1984, they have continuously put out great, critically acclaimed albums!! If you haven’t seen Los Lobos, I highly recommend that you do. You won’t be disappointed!!!!
