Mac Sabbath puts on the most fun and entertaining show each time. The theatrics are well timed, hilarious, and always over the top. Fun for the whole family. I took my 10 year old a d 16 year old with me this time
We laughed through the whole show. Whether you are a metal metal fan, love Black Sabbath, or just want to see a fun show, Mac Sabbath will always satisfy. The guys are absolutely sweet and genuinely good people. So glad The Castle Theater hosted them. Hopefully they will again.
first time attending the castle theatre, i like these type of shows where the venue is not too big, but big enough to get the job done. i went to see the native howl mainly, i didn't know the other bands, but i stayed for the whole show. i might be biased, but native howl was my favorite. high energy, in your face, metal/bluegrass. they showed up to impress, and did just that!
These guys have quickly become one of my favorite bands. Their music, their vocals, their stage presence and their appreciation of their fans make them an amazing band that sounds even better live than on their albums. I'm really hoping that they continue carving out a name for themselves in the metal community and can't wait to see them live again!
All our love!

Samantha Fish put on a fast-paced guitar driven performance at the Castle Theater on October 10, 2023. A crowd of 400 watched as Fish ran through a high-energy set. Fish was accompanied by keyboards, bass, and drums for most of the show. Fish dismissed the band for a couple of songs. The set was a mix of some of her best tunes and some real rockers. The encore with blues guitarist and show opener Eric Johanson featured a blistering guitar shoot out between Sam and Eric. As my 8th time seeing Fish, she just gets better every time I see here. Do not pass up an opportunity to see her.
Amazing show. Band sounds as good as they did when opening for Rolling Stones on Steel Wheels tour. Only the fact that they are playing Stain set as a 30th anniversary show kept this from being an absolute top 5 show for me as I like that album less than Vivid or Time's Up.
The Castle Theatre is perfect for smaller audiences and yet it is able to hire well known bands. There’s free parking across the street. Reasonable ticket prices.
The venue has a long history going back to 1916.
Pop Evil put on a great show as did Lines of Loyalty. It was nice to enjoy a concert without being in a group of thousands.
Second time seeing them. First time for my son. And we got VIP passes just so he could meet his number one favorite band. It was all worth it. Nothing More just puts on incredible shows. Sooo much energy. And they are all so into the music it’s just infectious. If you ever have the chance to see them, do it.
He's the most awesome songwriter and singer I've ever met and he's dropped it gorgeous mouth curling gorgeous I love to get on that on him and ride all the way home he makes my panties wet just thinking about him and show is so awesome come back I love to see you again and again and again stop on by I love Spencer Crandall he's my guardian angel and my best friend and my forever love you love you always
I’ve seen Tab every time he’s come to Bloomington (gotta 7-8 years now) and he never fails to deliver. The band is tighter than ever and genuinely seems to enjoy what they’re doing.
Never heard JD Simo (his opener) and was blown away by his mad skills on the guitar.
Once again, a great night in front of a totally packed house.
Until next time, Brother!!
NONPOINT never disappoints! So much energy, they are unmatched by any band. I’ve probably been to 20 shows and they always keep it entertaining. This show was very fun and I’d like to add that the opener VRSTY is great also. This was my third time checking VRSTY out and they do not disappoint. The Castle Theater is a great place for live music. Not a bad spot in the house from the stage to the doors.
This show was amazing, Bad Omens killed it! It’s rare to be at a show where the crowd is engaged and singing every song. The venue was great as usual, not a bad place to stand in the house. The sound is great from the front row to the doors. The best show of the summer for me.
The show was great as always, Nonpoint rocks every time I see them, but I got ripped off by one of the bartenders for $60, so if you ever go to the Castle theatre in Bloomington, I suggest you pay cash and count your change before you leave the bar, but if you pay with a credit or debit card, get a receipt, so you have proof, I’m out $60 cause I “trusted” the bartender to be honest!!!!!!
The concert itself was excellent and all the bands KILLED it! However, The Castle (venue) seemed to be a little overcrowded, and there were railings in the middle of the venue, so it was difficult to move, dance, mosh, etc. Other than that, it was a night Ill definitely remember for a while!
An amazing concert experience!! My first time ever seeing MM@TH and they did not disappoint. The energy, vibes, and talent were immaculate. Edith even stopped the show at one point to make sure someone in the crowd was safe. I will definitely be seeing them again (hopefully as a headliner next time! 😁🤘🏾)
I got VIP for this concert and so I got to meet Waterparks as well as early entrance into the venue. While I was waiting in line with my friend to meet the boys, I saw some of the members of one of the opening bands. I had my friend save my spot in line and I went over to talk to them. They were super kind and very easy to talk to and even took a picture with me. I then went and met the boys. I ran immediately to Geoff and gave him a hug (he gives great hugs). I then hugged the other boys and was able to talk to them all. Awsten was talking to Jawn a bit so i was mostly just talking to Geoff and Otto which I didn’t mind that much and I still love Awsten anyways. I then was able to secure front row spots. While the first opener was getting ready, I had a conversation with the guitarist Dominic and he was super friendly too. I even went up to him after the show and he remembered my name which was really cool. All of the sets for the entire night were full of energy, the lights were mesmerizing, they were all very interactive with the crowd and made it easy to have a good time even if you had never listened to them before.
crazy amazing!! had vip and got in line hours beforehand. it was so great meeting parx again :) got “barricade” except there wasn’t one so got to see parx against the stage and it was honestly a religious experience. i think security was a lil stressed so not gonna give them a hard time because people were still crowdsurfing literally onto the stage, but they came onto the stage and were selling water and we all definitely overpaid for water so be careful bout that (but one of the openers told them to give us all waters and they’d cover it and it was real cute). seeing waterparks live is always an amazing experience and this concert was no different:)
The performance was amazing!! The venue was a bit over sold & crowded as hell, some people were there to just get drunk so the noise level of the crowd was quite annoying & disrespectful to the bands in my opinion. Could barely hear the first opening act because of it & it’s a shame, because Del Suelo is awesome too! Whiskey shivers rocked hard, and TDS brought it all to stage and hung it out to dry regardless of those drunks who will not remember this epic show...
This was the most perfect thing to ever happen. I am so glad that all these bands got together to go on tour and do what they like. (Dallon and Awsten were super amazing on stage and the rest of the bands are so sweet in real life)
What a great show! Lee Ann brought a great set of music both past and present as she delivered to a near sold out crowd of the intimate Castle Theatre venue. Humble and honest, Lee Ann did not disappoint delivering a great night of memorable country music.
