I love bowling for soup! It was an amazing concert thinking of going to wembley later this year.
Absolutely brill .....they. took over the whole fest .... non of other bands incl. Alestorm could match them
Absolutely amazing! LAPD was great and Zayn was so amazing, better than I could’ve ever imagined. Venue was amazing too.
Zayn is an amazing singer, so glad to see him. Location was amazing too, plenty of shops and restaurants around. However no AC in the building, two people fainted and another two had to be escorted out because it was so hot. Such a shame because the location of the venue is so nice.
The venue was so beautiful, the merch was amazing. It was a perfect night and Zayn literally sounded like an angel. I’m so proud of him and everything he achieved ♥️
Zayn was an absolute dream! ♥️ I came all the way from Amsterdam to see him, and it was so worth it. His voice was straight-up angelic, and the energy in the room was unmatched. Every moment felt like magic — I’m still floating. Truly an unforgettable night! I want more! 🥰
Shaggy has got moves to make a woman! Plus his gorgeous, I took my daughter with me and her words were ‘I walked in here a girl and I’m leaving a woman 🫣🥵😘
Seen this Band a few times now got all their albums so many amazing songs with amazing lyrics that just come to life in a live setting.
Tune after tune. Venue was roasting but not their fault at all. Got a plate at Asda after so that was great! Would love to see them again!!
Best gig I’ve been to!! SO much fun. Absolutely class! O2 Academy is a great venue too.
Band was great, venue way too small, cramped couldn't move, ppl pushing through puts me off the 02 academy in future
A balmy O2 Academy in Edinburgh welcomed The Darkness and support act Bad Nerves on Tuesday night. The latter performed a 10 song set of polished indie rock which immediately placed them on my Spotify "follow" list. They put on a tightly packed show with stand out tracks "Palace" , "Can't Be Mine" & "Dreaming".
The hall filled for the 9pm arrival of Justin, Dan, Frankie and Rufus to the stage where they immediately set off into a raucous rendition of "Black Shuck". Soured slightly by a somewhat petulant outburst about their fans taking mobile phone memories, Justin got back to his showman best and rocked out some of their first album stonkers, "Get Your Hands Off of My Woman" and "Growing on Me". They moved on to cover a couple of their early B Sides before getting back to the main Permission to Land fayre. Reminding us all just how incredible this album is. The traditional cover of Radiohead classic "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" was truly phenomenal and followed by equally brilliant versions of "Holding My Own" and "Friday Night". Justin then brought the crowd to rapture by producing a Santa hat and breaking out the greatest Xmas song of all time "Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End) leading into everyones favourite "I Believe in a Thing Called Love".
A somewhat elongated wait for the encore was explained when the band appeared again in dressing gowns and underwear, the time clearly extended by trying to peel Justin out of his catsuit.
The event was thusly brought to climax with a rendition of "I Love You 5 times" and crowd pleaser anthem "Love on the Rocks with No Ice" where both Justin and Rufus ended the event stripped to their briefs.
Truly, The Darkness bring "IT" to every live performance and they deserve even more widespread success.
Trivium was most excellent as usual! These guys bring it every single time!
M&G and Pig Pen was well run.
Venue was decent, a bit roasty toasty though.
Venue staff were really nice, cheerful, chatty and just really sound.
Water was being given out at the front at a good rate, keeping some of alive!
Amy and the guys absolutely kicked ass! I went with my son as his first venture into live punk and it was a thing we will share always! I eventually had to to bail from the front when we all fell over in the mosh pit during Hertz. Awesome humour and energy from the band, lovely crowd, what’s not to like?! Amy, fucking go!
Fantastic, yet again another night of musical bliss from these guys, don’t just stand there go check them out for yourselves. Oh and by the way, mammoth are awesome as well, definitely going places these guys, they ROCK !!
Alter Bridge's performance in Edinburgh was an absolute triumph. Their passion, skill, and stage presence are unmatched, and they know how to deliver a concert that leaves a lasting impact. If you have the chance to see Alter Bridge live, do not hesitate. You'll be treated to a night of exceptional rock music that will stay with you long after the final chord fades away.
Always amazing. Brian Fallon has perfected the balance of music and great 'stage patter'. Amazing setlist and I'm always a fan of a random cover by the Gaslight Anthem. Appreciate the mix of songs, covers and chat is not everyone cup of tea but I personally love it.
First time in the O2 in Edinburgh, which was a brilliant venue that was well organised with polite staff and security.
Brilliant gig ☺️ 5 star performance...
Great set list and acoustics are really good on this venue...
Mega smashed medley of hits, seemed quite a short set, but it is best to leave the audience wanting more.
Deadmau5 was fantastic. First half hour was a bit slow but after that it was immense
