MARTA wasn't running yesterday when I got off of work, so I had no choice but to take a scorpion train that mysteriously appeared. It only took me to Terminal West though, where I found some people smoking vapes and looking for a horse. One of them asked if I had a dog under the age of three they could have (at least I THINK that was what he asked- a loud ass car drove by at the same time) but I couldn't hang around because I had to get to the gym.
Seriously- this show KICKED ASS!!!!!! I will 100% see them the next time they are in town. This was the most fun that I've had at a show in a decade. Do not miss them!!!
Such a fabulous jam. It was amazing to hear the band up close and personal. So many great light show moves. The music was experimental Jam and so uplifting. I love Terminal West for a super close up sound. All the audience was positive and moving with the music. It just makes life better to be there!
Perfect show! Seeing them perform at terminal west was so much better than their last club date here at district. They dropped all the classics like ‘children’, ‘fractal’, ‘breeze blocks’ and ‘hide u’.
They gave us a nice surprise by inviting Felix Raphael onstage who performed a few songs live with them.
Absolutely fucking amazing. This band sounds better live than hearing them through a speaker. Their energy with the crowd, plus talent, made for Perfection. I drove 3 hours to see them and worth it 110%. Although a very cool venue, wish it would have been bigger. Packed with no room to dance to this incredible music. And when you're standing next to a bunch of duds that don't move to the music, cramps the people who actually want to engage and dance to this highly dance worthy sound.
Great show! I’ve seen Steep Canyon Rangers many times in many different venues and cities. This was my first visit to Terminal West. It’s a great little venue. The sound and sight lines were first rate. Rangers never disappoint. They were on fire and the audience loved it. If this review sounds a bit biased, it is. I’m a long time Steephead. Despite some personnel changes over the years, they seem to get even better with each iteration. Bring them back soon!
I was at this show, fantastic show. These guys are just great entertainers, and great musicians as well. I audio taped the show so I can relive the experience, what a wonderful gift the band allows this. Next tour I plan to catch 2-3 shows, not just the ATL show. I attached the set list, if anyone wants photos or a copy of the recording reach out to me. Randy
If you've never been to a C. French show, you're seriously missing out! Absolutely love his shows, his energy, and all of his songs are ABSOLUTE BANGERS! My mans slayed it! I believe that's 4 times so far and cheers to many, many, many more shows in the future!
Venue is awesome, great place to see show. As much as I love Vulvodynia, they are not that great live. The drummer really struggles. The new vocalist did fine, it just could have been a lot better. Still love em tho and hope all the best in their future.
Terminal West surprised me, although the venue doesn't look so appealing from the outside, once you step inside it's a whole experience, the lighting the decor, the huge cauldron that sits between the entrances of the bathrooms, it's a very unique place, the sound was great, the size is I'd say small but it allows for a very intimate evening with the artist. I loved it, definitely will come back to Terminal West for more shows!
The show was amazing and transcending. I was not familiar with the group prior to the event; (the event was an algorithm suggestion) however, the experience was so memorable that their sound vibrations will definitely be added to my playlist. Thank you for sharing such an undescribable level of vibrational energy (something that cannot be explained but has to be experienced to be fully appreciated). I truly enjoyed the present moment experience of last night's performance.🙏. Thank you for radiating...
What an absolute 💥 blast!!!! I’ve seen Little Stranger a number of times since I discovered them just a couple of years ago and I gotta say that this show , along with the one that followed the next night in Nashville were off the chain! Little Stranger opened for Andy Frasco and the UN - WOW - I’m not sure that I can even think of a better combo when it comes to a F̆̈ Ŭ̈ N̆̈ show!!! Woo hoo!

Brilliant translation of their recent studio wizardry to a live show. The guitar was often pushed into unstable feedback territory, and it was a joy to watch the expert wrangle the beast. That distortion was alternated with truly quiet and subtle sounds. They effectively utilize the full dynamic range made possible by playing live. Amazing show!
What a show! Not quite as good as their last time through Atlanta (at the same venue), but that show was otherworldly. This one was still super amazing. Normally, it tends to suck when a band brings on the opening acts at the end, but this time was so cool--I think because they picked a down tempo song. The competing, then cooperative, guitar solos where f'ing amazing. The amplification-free encore, I would have guessed would have been cheesy, but they totally pulled off by picking a great, deep cut song. So much fun. Loved tonight's I Know the Reason. Great set!
most intimate concert i’ve ever been to. absolutely crazy and was a good vibe. if he’s around, go to him! if you can, meet him! he’s the sweetest guy ever, he felt like a friend you’ve known for a while. can’t wait to see him in the future again🥰🥰🥰
My first Omar Apollo concert and it was amazing. Like I’m so glad that he decided to tour in the fall and come to Atlanta for the second time this year! He brought silver sphere and Alexander 23! He brought tamales for vip people. Wow this was such an incredible opportunity. I discovered him last year in the fall and who would’ve imagine me the next year going to his concert in the fall. Wow totally recommend an Omar concert. Can’t wait until he come to Atlanta again I’m so ready. Wow. Thank you. Gracias Omar!!!! Btw he’s sooo tall!! Like tall TALL!
Absolutely life changing. Waited years to see Alan and it was way better than expected, and I KNEW he'd be the best. Such a wonderful human with lively energy like ive never seen at a concert. 😭😭😭 I've loved his music for a long long time. I cant wait for when he returns. Atlanta loves you!!! Also have an obsession for italian disco now, thanks so much. 💘
Chelsea Wolfe is one of my absolute favorite artists and Terminal West is one of my favorite venues. I love that she decided to play here and she sounded as amazing as always. Powerful and intimate, foreboding and inevitable, her presence is something that draws you in rather than filling the entire room.
These guys were phenomenal. Sounded better live than they do in the studio - and that's a feat, because they sound AMAZING in the studio. Amazing stage presence from all of the guys, and they took so many requests. Hands down, one of the best shows I've ever been to in my life.
Drove 5 1/2 hours to see him, so worth it. Amazing talent, great musician! The whole concert felt like he was singing to a group of old friends, even took the time to meet & greet after the show. He was personable, friendly & appreciative of his fans. If you get the chance to see him, do it, you won’t be disappointed!!
It was a total blast. Venue was small but it seemed perfect for Franks personality. The show was funny and quirky just like I expected it to be. The set had its flaws but its his first tour in a coat closet of a venue so it was forgivable. My only problem was I wish the set was longer. It couldn’t be longer though because he practically played every song he has come out with😂
