I flew in from California Just to see these guys...I had no idea what to expect about the venue etc... I can honestly say this was Thee Best concert I have ever been to. Wic Whitney was Amazing and the Nicotine Dolls were just perfection. Sam's voice I mean Come Onnnn!!!!!!
I was extremely fortunate to run into them in the alley and got to take a picture with John and John so that made my entire trip. I brought 3 family members with me who had No idea who these guys were but are now instant fans. Please come to California so I can see you again!! Go See Them!!!!
Bbno$ literally gave my brother and I the best concert experience possible. JungleBobbie opened for him and set the mood and Bbno$ came in and carried it to the end. It was roughly a 2.5 hour concert. Recommend more of a PG13 rating but the man himself was a blessing to see. Cannot share the love enough <3
It was a fun show but they did zero crowd work. After every song Landon just screamed “Chicago!!!” And then “thank you guys” and then went on to the next song. I didn’t even know the last song was the last song til they all just left the stage and people screamed encore. It was fun, but really felt like they didn’t wanna be there.
This show was ABSOLUTELY amazing! From Eric himself, to the live sound, down to the venue, it was AMAZING and jaw dropping! Shoutout to the staff and security! Everyone was extremely helpful and polite while doing their job. This was THE GREATEST concert I’ve been to in a while. Eric Bellinger can do NO WRONG anywhere in the world but especially in Chicago! Thank you for having Him! <3
It was nice glad she is solo I love her a lot but the backdrop wasn’t really there if that made sense it was kinda pointless especially when it wasn’t the lyrics on the screen and I feel like she could’ve wait to call people on stage till the very last min then close out with no bars or something but I love her a lot you can tell she kinda shy also
Absolutely wonderful concert. Both bands played as if they were going into tomorrow. I splurged on merchandise and a poster. I love the VIC theater and with such convient parking nearby, absolutely! Real close to Belmont where's there's late night fun things to do. The boys' town is a few blocks over. Rock on 80s and 90s music!!!
Ralph Barbosa's performance was incredible, and the opening comedians added to the overall enjoyment. However, the venue (Vic Theatre) left much to be desired, especially considering it was my first time attending. The women's bathroom on the second floor was a disaster, with only two stalls and toilet paper scattered all over the floor. Additionally, the drink lines were excessively long, leading us to forgo any beverages and head straight to our seats. The process for obtaining wristbands indicating you were 21 was chaotic, lacking proper organization and feeling rushed. The staff members were not particularly friendly; instead, they came across as blunt and direct. Despite the remarkable show, I wouldn't choose this venue again due to its shortcomings.
Mammothwvh Rocked The Vic Theater in Chicago on Thursday ! I was lucky to be VIP hear the soundcheck and be right up front almost 2 hours of Awesoneness. Wolfgang VanHalen and his band Had the crowd up and singing the whole show. Did 2 acoustic songs that were the highlight of the night! The energy of this band is NON STOP ! Was a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟5 Star Show RECOMMENDED DIANE B
The band and their guest artists were great. They rocked for a solid 2 1/2 hours. The sound was a bit muddled throughout, especially lyrics and spoken words between songs. While we had great seat location in tenth row, the seats themselves were folding chairs with minimal back support, jammed tightly together. Love the band, don't love the venue.
for me the issue with posting a great review, is that it may result in being harder to get good tickets next time a band comes to town; On the other hand these folks are so good & fun in concert that it is better to just let everyone know what this band is all about - they just need to be Experienced.
If you want great musicians & songs & want to be energized – these folks will fill the bill
As an additional benefit – this band & music has deep & strong roots / so if that is of interest to you – also an unique opportunity.
See them any time & any place you can (we do)
(Little Feat played both the Sailin’ Shoes and Dixie Chicken albums in their entirety Monday night due to being forced to cancel the Sunday night show due to an apparent personnel emergency of the venue staff. )
As great as the Little Feat catalogue of songs is, they are and always have been, at their core, a live band. The musicianship continues to be dazzling, but it’s the joy of playing and the enthusiasm they have for playing live that is their calling card.
Nothing more to say, except that it was a great show and a fantastic way to end this summer’s The Albums Tour. It was hot, start to finish.
You guys! If for some reason you have the idea that The Darkness is a "joke band", think again. These guys are the real thing, and they rock. This is a good ol' rock and roll show like we used to see in days gone by. They love their audience and their audience loves them. If you weren't there, you missed something.
Incredible band! Can't say enough about them. Their music was fantastic, as expected, and performance was fun and engaging. Venue was a really cool venue also with good views. Sound quality wasn't the best however, either mixing or maybe the room bounces since to much. Either way, if you have a chance to see this group - DO IT!
Fitz And The Tantrums ALWAYS put on a great show. In Chicago that night, they played "Silver Platter" for the first time in any concert. I really enjoy being close to the stage at the Vic, unlike the Riv or Aragon (though they are also great venues).
Opening act Sammy Rash was a welcome surprise, though my teen daughter knew some of his songs. We both met him at his merch table after the show. He was incredibly kind and friendly. I could see him as a rising future star.
she was interacting with fans the entire time. she was so friendly and super energetic, such a great concert! definitely a good steal since the tickets were affordable and the venue was pretty small so anywhere you were, you were close. Dreamer Boy opened for her and he was also amazing! he stayed after the show to talk to fans and sign merch. it was such a good night ❤️
Amazing show. Like going back in time 36 years ago at the Metro. Such hard-working professionals; they brought the energy as if it were their first tour. Diverse crowd--fans of all ages. So many great songs, and so many more to choose from. Vic is great, as always. 7 Seconds brought the heat as well.
This show was just what the Dr. ordered. He is funny and a great entertainer. A once in a lifetime chance to get to know Bruce D. Aside from his Iron Maiden gig.. A glimpse into his early career and upbringing, told with a lot of parody. The show wasn’t gross or overly sexualized. Just a regular guy… sort of.
He even met the Queen … go to see the show!
The artist Scarypoolparty put on an awesome show! He just gets better and better! Loved his new songs as well as his more familiar ones. Love how he rearranged and performed Ten Years. His band, Travis Couch (guitarist), Maxx Diaz (bassist), and Darren King (DK the drummer) are SO talented and they all play so well together, like they have been playing together for years instead of a few short months. Alejandro has amazing stage presence and he gets more confident with each performance. This is the 4th time I have seen him, but this was the 1st Fall Tour Show for me and it was SPECTACULAR! The level of talent is off the charts! His virtuoso piano and guitar playing are further enhances by a beautiful voice. And what an awesome range he has! Every song is so interesting and so unique. Opening act Sucre was incredible as well! I just loved her performance! She is a brilliantly talented multi-instrumentalist and breathtaking vocalist. I wish I could give this show one million stars!! But he is even better than a star - he is a DIAMOND 🔷🔷🔷🔷❤️❤️❤️🎵😎🤘🏼🔥
Soooooo good! I’ve seen these amazing ladies four times and each time is such a treat. The own the stage with such confidence and grace, they demand nothing of the audience and instead just give their gift of song writing, vocals and musical composition. Always giving a good mix of old + new and throwing in some fun covers and throwbacks too. It’s obvious they have so much fun jamming out together and it’s infectious to watch. Definitely recommend this great group!
