I love the Chatham Rabbits! Austin and Sarah are great storytellers and are so hospitable in the way they perform - they make you feel right at home. And Club Passim is the perfect venue for them!
Great evening of authentic Hawaiian music! Each musician performed about 5 songs individually and then 2 songs together at the end. Concert opened with “Aloha ‘Oe” and closed with “He Hawai’i Aloha”.
A couple of wahines even danced hula to a couple of songs. A magical experience; mahalo nui!
Henhouse Prowlers put on a fabulous bluegrass show at Passim. Mixed with undertones of jazz, country, folk and gospel, they played a number of songs from their upcoming album, releasing 4/18/25, plus old favorites. One of the best and most original bluegrass bands playing today.
Lori is an astonishing inspiration in her musicality and in the heart her songs send. Her compelling spirit in "Always be gentle and kind" and "Crowded table" leaves me feeling healed and hopeful about what the coming days may hold. Thank you Lori!
Lively, authentic, fun and thoughtful. What more does one need? I took two people who didn’t know The Nields music and they had a blast! Will be tracking their every show in the area from now on.
I’m so glad I finally got to see Laura Cantrell. She has the sweetest voice . The show was perfect. This was the first time seeing a show at Club Passim . I enjoyed that too. So hopefully she will book a show on Cape Cod !!! (Where I live). I’m a little old to be driving in Bostons traffic and at night.
We had been looking forward to being at Club Passim for a long time. Chatting with people packed into this small space filled with LB fans added to the anticipation.
Lisa and Sean are so good together, but this show highlighted this love in a special way. It keeps her fans coming back again and again.
They are great. I would have liked the show to have gone longer with perhaps an intermission. My preference is some of A.J. Lee's previous songs where her voice stands out over the abundance of bluegrass. But the bluegrass is also excellent.
It was awesome. First time at Passim but it couldn’t have been a more intimate and awesome show. Food/drink was great, the music was great (and really awesome acoustics for such a small room), and just kinda wonderful. Matt and crew (Hilary, Chris, and Jay) were amazing and Alexa Rose was great as well.
Wonderful creative repertoire of new music with upbeat, foot tapping cello, base guitar and beatbox percussion. Fabulous spontaneous freestyle rapping and of course, stunning cello playing and vocals by local Mike Block!
What a great night at the Lamplighter Sessions. I'm a big Muddy Ruckus fan, but this night showed how great they were in a collaborative set. It was a Peter Mulvey event. He's great. Erika really held the beat the whole night. Crashing that drum kit on their pieces, so suttle and background appropriate on others.Same with Ryan. Throttled when necessary, brought it ii on cue. Great night. Great show. Fantastic inter band chatter. Shoot me between the eyes for forgetting the name of the great Sax player. He was the photon that brought light to the night!
I left the show feeling like I had just seen One the Greats, probably similar to what people felt after seeing Joni Mitchell perform at a coffeehouse. Spellbound is probably the best word for it. The Word Barn, with the way the trees serve as canopy and backdrop to the stage, complemented the performance like no other venue in New England could have.
Wow! these sisters are such incredible musicians and so personable. Brazil should be paying them as ambassadors as well as musicians. and to be able to see them in such a professional but intimate setting was absolutely the best!
Kris delivered a very fine show, with three other professional musician friends accompanying her. Kris' poetic lyrics get your attention, the ladies harmonizing stirring the soul and some fun rocking out. Kris was very interactive with the friendly audience. An encore of a couple audience requests.
Fantastic show! The whole night was special with Club Passim puts on a class night. Tony and his band were flawless for the first night of their tour. Don’t miss if it comes to your town!
It was a songwriting workshop, and I was so impressed by the environment that Dar created to make us all feel safe and respected. I also learned a lot, and so look forward to reading her book that came with the workshop. It was a huge inspiration for me, and helped me to feel more alive and connected to others who love music. I hope to attend more of these, as well as her songwriting retreats. I can’t say enough about the impact it had on me😊!
Just Fabulous! And what a great band. Alexa Rose was wonderful too as the opener and welcomed to preform with Maya too. A lot of love throughout that group!
The show was really great. Lindsay’s voice is amazing, and her a cappella version of Resting Place was stunning! It’s always fun to get something unique and special at the live show beyond what’s on the album (which is also terrific- get it!) but in this case Lindsay, with Liv and Noah, went beyond special and delivered something truly personal and memorable for everyone there. It’ll stay with us for a long time. Definitely go to see her in concert if you can!
Tianna Esperanza was amazing. She has an amazing stage presence and had the audience captivated! She is so young and yet her lyrics show a depth of character beyond her years. So glad I went!
