After two full sets he came back for the encore and played six more songs. First set was the entire new album. After intermission he played his classics including Shut it Tight, my favorite and one he rarely plays. His band was phenomenal.
Sanah was amazing. I wish she could have had a longer performance. Perhaps she can come back for an individual tour. The audiance loved her. Matteo was great, too. In addition to his beautiful renditions, he put his heart into the show, and it made a big impact.
Town Hall is a lovely venue, and Richard Thompson did a fantastic show. It was something of a family gathering - his grandson played guitar on several songs (and seemed to have inherited the guitar hero gene) and his son Teddy Thompson got up for a couple of fantastic songs. The high point for me was his solo rendition of "1952 Vincent Black Lightning", which I have heard him play hundreds of times, but never better than Friday night. I was mildly disappointed that we didn't get to hear "Dimming of the Day" or "Beeswing", but they were there to flog a new album so I understood.
The opening act was delightful - Kacy and Clayton, a duo from Saskatchewan Canada. They had beautiful harmonies backed with intricate and resonant tw0-guitar arrangements. She did most of the talking between songs and she was hilarious in a small-town deadpan way.
Outstanding. It was everything I was expecting and more. Sound was amazing. They played all my favorite songs.John Spencer was a great opening act. But I had to Google during the show to find out who was the opening act.
John, Exene, Billy and DJ brought us a frenetic, mind blowing concert which further solidified they're legendary status. They poured through their set list with nearly no breaks and ended with such an amazing sequence of songs!
This was a very enjoyable show. Sheng Wang was very likable, down to earth, had an entirely new set from his Netflix special, and was just as funny. The sound at Town Hall was very good. I could hear perfectly. The audience was very receptive to his humor and it was an overall positive atmosphere in the room.
AMAZING!!!!she is a born performer. I’m 34 yrs old and have been listening to her since I was 5, thanks to my mom! Debbie and her band were amazing and I cried at each song that brought back so many memories. Her vinyls are the ones I play most and it’s been a dream come true seeing her. I wish she would have more electric youth anniversary shows !!
Every single person in this world should go to her concert or at least listen to her album. Simply SPECTACULAR and there is no one living that compares to that exquisite voice and tone and inflection. Truly breathtaking.
Wow. What a show and what a great audience at The Town Hall. The band was perfect and the atmosphere was fantastic. The girl who was dancing in the aisle on the floor almost stole the show and I told her so…. Great job by all.
The event was great! She was funny, warm, and open during her interview with Seth Meyers. Her singing was amazing as always, and her discussion regarding her book made everybody anxious to read it. It was wonderful to hear her talk about her mother she was very close to, and it was great seeing any of the pictures phone during her lifetime
Darren sang his heart out! He sang all the old favorites we love from his solo career as well as Savage Garden. He was dancing and shaking his cute butt the whole time! I had an absolute blast!
It shouldn't be called a concert as you did in a previous screen. But it certainly was quite interesting. hearing a lot of stories from Steve. And was very interesting to watch Harry Bliss make his wonderful drawings.
Awesome talent in an amazingly intimate venue. I had know idea either existed! So glad a buddy had an extra ticket. She’s now followed on my BIT. Come to NJ shore area, particularly Asbury Park.
The show was just amazing! Renaissance always sound terrific but when you add the Chamber Orchestra - it’s incredible and inspiring! Hearing some of Annie’s solo songs with the Orchestra was phenomenal! I can’t wait to see them again!
Petrucci is a guitar God, I actually think he’s under rated, but we know better. Seeing him play with Mike Portnoy again was amazing….and Dave LaRue is an excellent bassist. All around great show that flew by. Let’s not forget about the heavy as shit set by Meanstreak…WOW!!
The show was great ! Her voice is still golden! She talked about her life growing up and some of the shows and plays she did and some of the people she worked with. I really enjoyed it
Kenny Loggins is the consummate professional entertainer. He sounded fantastic vocally, covered most of his hits and had a tight supporting band. It was particularly interesting to hear stories between songs, in a Q&A led by “The Professor of Rock” Adam Reader. The format was similar to VH-1 Storytellers and one that I loved. I was a little disappointed he didn’t play Playin’ With The Boys and Meet Me Halfway. And the crowd tended to be on the older-to-much older side, so the energy was lacking at times. Otherwise, it was a fantastic show.
This was another incredible Saxy night with @kennyg and his amazing band. This guy looks so good to be 66 years old today, yes KG keep the Pantene going so those beautiful curls keep bouncing. Even if they turn gray it's okay, your career won't go down the drain like Michael Bolton "as you say" 😉. I'm always feeling so blessed when I leave your show because you always give us your best not only that you play your 🎷 as if you're playing for each of us individually. That makes for a Phenomenal artist. Thank you for touching me without using your hands. I pray for continued health for you so you can Sax our hearts more. Truly it's an honor to be a loyal fan of Team G. Butterfly 🦋

Great show, bang was on point Beth as always was amazing, the sound was perfect loud enough to hear everything. This was my third Beth concert and without a doubt not my last.
It was a great night and very hard to believe that there will not be that wonderful combination of Chris, Mike, Sarah, Tom and guests at The Town Hall again. We’ve got to work on getting Live from here or a new version of life from here back up and running and based in New York on the radio and live streaming… I get that royalties make it tricky but I’m sure we can figure out a way to make it work
