O2 Academy Leeds

The Lottery Winners show was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Opening with Jonny Blade who had the already huge crowd in the palm of his hand & really set the tone for the night. I haven't seen so much love for an opener at a gig for a very long time. Jonny was followed by The Covasettes who kept the pace going ready for Thom, Rob, Kate & Joe to take it up a notch with feel good anthems & songs that make you dance & think in equal measure. Their latest single Turn Around brought both supports back on stage to join in with the dance routine enjoyed by all onlookers. The usual encore finished with The Lottery Winners bringing Jonny Blade back once more to take a final bow. The way this band support grassroots artists is a joy to behold and the gig was one that will live long in the memory. Keep on keeping on.

Great band, full of energy. Brilliant music. Really enjoyed listening and they got the crowd engaged. Such a pity Circa Waves didn’t just have you as the only support, instead of which the audience had to endure Peace band which rather deflated the mood. Will look out for Corella again!

Sorry lads, this wasn’t your best performance. I saw you in Glasgow last week so i know how good you can be. Corella were brilliant as the first support band but then having to endure Peace band and you not coming on stage until 9.35pm ensured that the crowd had lost much of its enthusiasm and it never really recovered. Peace were a terrible choice of support band which killed the vibe which Corella had created.

The organization of they venue was mostly poor as in the balcony people seated got up and shadowed all the remaining standing who didn't have much option and they weren't controlling It and also the cue was too large and confusing as in which direction to go according to your area or ticket. But ZAYN was INCREDIBLE he sings even better live than in record which is pretty SHOCKING, everyone was AMAZED and had a really nice, smooth and connecting time. So everything else didn't really matter in the end cause we got to enjoy his simple but MOVING show SO MUCHH!! 💙

The best night ever, even tho the crew sorting VIP in the venue wasn’t very good, we got told that we were going to be sorted by our numbers, we weren’t so me and my friend got so far behind with people who were almost 100 over us in the queue. NOT GOOD. Sp be aware of that next time.

I watched from Kentucky, it was great but obviously not as good as being there in the venue. It’s hard to hear him singing over the screams of the person recording😅 He looked and sounded amazing and comfortable🥰. I hope he fun, man he can sing🙌

I wasn’t there sadly, but I watched through a livestream with thousands of other fans. I had this excitement through the entire show, and he even sang two songs that I wished he would sing. I love the stage sett up with the trees and lights and just everything, it looks really cool. His fits that he worn yesterday and today was lovely. The way he talks a little with the crowd to is also something I really like, and his red microphone and mic stand looks cool too. I just love his vibe and everything. I hope that he comes to Sweden anytime soon, but no need to hurry. I understand that he starts slow in the uk and America due to his anxiety. I’m really proud of him coming out on tour, I could never have done that even if I could sing. I’m scared of doing things in front of others

GIRLLLS had to give 5 stars because its zayn and the show was just INCREDIBLE but everything besides that deserves zero stars 😭 Paying 250 bucks, 160 more than GA, arriving 3 hours before VIP doors and only being 7th row??? Wth. 500 VIPs??!?!?! The venue had a capacity of 2300 people, what even is the reason behind EE advantage if you possibly only get TWENTIETH ROW?!?! 😭 The venue in general was shit and 70% of the staff was absolutely rude 🫠

Rag 'N' Bone man was amazing, such a awesome live performer. His band and backing singers are incredible and the set looked great. The venue itself is not great for standing tickets (the only ones I could get when I booked) Luckily we got there early so did have a good view of the stage.

Frank and Dean was amazing as usual, probably one of the best gigs I have been to. The set list was great a mixture of the old stuff and music from the dark rainbow. Ending with the man of the hour. We left without a voice only bad thing about the whole gig was that I couldn't get any merch in my size as sold out but everything else was brilliant. I would recommend anyone to go see Frank as he is the ultimate show man.

One of the best gigs. They NEVER fail to be fabulous. Sound is spot on, engaged with the audience and they were enjoying themselves as much as we all were. Just fantastic. Thanks lads.

Absolutely incredible! My first time seeing him live and hopefully not my last! Loved every second, even the songs I wasn't familiar with. Shame the balcony seats weren't available, it was a lot of standing for my mum. We still loved it though, definitely a must see!

The band was top notch as always, great sound and entertainment and beat the sh*t out of Ant and Dec on a Saturday night. HOWEVER I found the venue & staff / security (Showtec) at 02 in Leeds, spoil the night. The watery lager was charged at £6.70 a pint of P***. The toilets were in a disgusting state of repair and smell. The building is past its sell by date and covered in scaffold, in an earlier life being a swimming pool, unfortunately some of the water from the pool was left on the toilets floor. As usual, after paying an extortionate amount of ticket fees, the band had to finish early due to a student night commencing after the King King gig. So we only got 90 minutes of the King and missed out the usual finale songs, followed by being herded out to the exits by young, over keen to impress, so called security average age of 20. Having been to many gigs in my time (as I am over 21) I object to being treated like a piece of sh*t and talked to as if I am doing them a favour for being there and keeping them from their friends on a Saturday night to play silly student games. Keep the Music / gig nights separate from the childish student activities and crappy electro musac, instead of trying to maximise profits and cutting REAL gigs short. NOTE TO KING KING MANAGEMENT: USE BRUDENELL CLUB NEXT TIME IN LEEDS. WELL, You did ask for my review. !! KING KING RULE.

First time seeing the band after following for 15 years, We were blown away with how engaging the 4 lads were, hit after hit with a fantastic audience participation of the elvis hit "cant help falling in love" during Elvis isnt dead. The whole show was a blast that we sang along and danced too. The highlight was the audience recording for a new single on the forthcoming album. A memorable experience that will stay with us and tops a lot of bigger bands weve seen.

Proper brilliant! Been a fan of the band since 2005 with hundreds of album play throughs on numerous hifi's, CD players, mp3 players ipods and smartphones over the decades, as music playback tech evolves, bloc party is always there on it with me! One of my top 5 bands of all time but only just got to see them live in 2022 and I have to say it was every bit as memorising as I'd imagined it would be to witness Russell's absalute mastery and genius creativity with his massive Pedalboard and to hear Kele's pitch perfect vocals being delivered streight to the brain through the ear holes! The crowd was going wild for it, the whole atmosphere just filled me with euthoria unlike any other live band has managed to so far in my life, just go as soon as you can!

So lovely, Aurora has a great stage presence and her support act (Metteson) was also really great. She interacts with the crowd a lot and is really funny. Definitely hope to see her again soon.

Maryland’s finest deliver the goods yet again! I love Clutch and have seen them a good few times over the years supporting others or on festival bills but when headlining and playing to their audience is when they really deliver; tonight was no exception. A first class festive gig of groove laden ROCK!

I went to see Dermot but Lilla’s voice is so beautiful and her music is incredible. I immediately downloaded all of her songs when I got back! Definitely would see her again in the future. Well done! ❤️
