Honestly so glad my costume had knee pads and elbow pads cus I’m a WUSS call it babies first mosh pit but 6up 5oh had my bopping around like a little ping pall ball
And I met amazing people all the way in the back of the pit screaming my throat out during dr.sunshine is dead, accompanied with meeting amazing people I’m absolutely Whipped,10/10 would do it again
First time attending an event here. Being a big bieber fan, I of course had to try this out. It was really fun ! I had a great time, i like that its not super overcrowded and you have room to dance and enjoy. The DJ(wasn't sure his name) did a great job, playing hits after hits. Definitely will attend another event. It was cute and something to do at night.
Such an amazing show. Original venue flooded so they moved it to a music store. The venue honestly made it better because of how intimate it was. The band met fans afterwards at the merch booth, and it will forever be one of my favorite live performances.
I loved it! It was my first concert and it was so worth 3 hours on a bus! I got the vip upgrade and that was worth every cent! I can't to wait to go to his new concert around here
Bands were all amazing, but what was up with the kid in the middle of the pit ruining it for everyone? Throw the girl on drugs out and let the rest of us have fun. She got a talkin to twice even.
These musicians were amazing and I loved the venue too. Invite them back; I would gladly make the trip again. Great sound great lights. Not too big and they took time to meet everyone! Sam Cieri is my favorite.
After seeing Sam Cieri on AGT I instantly fell in love with his amazing voice and talent. I have been following him and Nicotine Dolls since. When I saw they were performing in Asbury Park I had to attend! I must say Sam and the band were fantastic!!!! Nicotine Dolls is well on their way to becoming a super relevant band "In My Opinion!" wink wink!
Still can't believe this was it. I love you guys so much and wish you all the best! Thank you for an AMAZING weekend. Amazing song selections both days!
Also, whoever lost a guitar earring, just know i got home and found it in my bra... no idea how it got there, but thanks for the extra memorabilia 🤣
This was absolutely fantastic and amazing. I still can't believe this will and was your final show and moment as a group. I will continue to treasure and admire all your dedication and music. Thank you for the memories night that will stay with me for a life time.
One of my favorite shows of the year. I usually listen to metal and punk but on a whim I went and met some of the best people. Every performance was great and I hope they have this again next year!
HOI is a very cool venue where you can get up close to the acts. Staff are cool, drinks are not extortionary in price, the neighborhood is packed with places to eat, shop, grab a drink. Municipal Waste was great as always. Early Moods was really cool too, great people, them and their crew (parents/family?) good people, good band I will follow their music and wish them well. High on Fire, not a band I follow but stuck around for a couple songs of theirs I know. Their drummer hits really hard. If it was not so late would have stayed for whole set, but had an hour drive home.
Awesome show as usual for HOI. Thanks!
Amazing!!! I've come to Asbury park after having an amazing time at the show in Brooklyn (just a month ago), and I can't wait to see them again!
Also, respect for all the artists who played the same night, they altogether made an unfortunate experience!
Halocene killed it this was such a great time for a band that means so much to me. Didn’t pay for the meet and greet beforehand but EVERYONE on the show tonight stayed after to hangout talk with everyone and signed stuff. ADDIE FROM HALOCENE AND DAVID MICHAEL FRANK SIGNED MY VAPE
The bands were very good; HOWEVER, it wasn't until the third set that we realized that Steve Forbert had fallen ill and wouldn't appear at all that evening. (James Maddock mentioned it during the third set.) There had been a note mentioning Steve's absence and other things, as you walked in, but we missed the note. I was so bummed and so disappointed because I was looking forward to this so much. After initially feeling sorry for myself, I thought, heck, stop feeling sorry for yourself and think positive thoughts for Steve and pray for him to overcome this medical emergency. I traveled from NYC and was staying overnight after the show, so it was a big deal for me. Near the end of the third and final set, James Maddock again mentioned Steve and said that he'd heard Steve was feeling better, so that was good to hear. I'm hoping that the medical emergency was nothing serious and that Steve's feeling great. The venue was nice, and the staff was nice.
Joe P was extraordinarily good to watch. So glad i made the trip down to asbury to come see him. The crowd was electric, and Joe made everyone there feel loved and seen. He is such a genuine person and I can’t wait to see him again. Also, Anna Shoemaker and Sonic Blume were fantastic and they just gained a new fan!! 💗💗
5 Fucking Stars !!! Thank you for bringing heavy to our underground pit ... wish it was a weekend instead of Wednesday so we could’ve packed that full !!👊🏼🤘🏼please come back soon !!! I had a Great time and pit started getting rowdy before night was over too !!
Mac Powell He as always so so sweet.
I’ve been his fan for 14 years. This concert was interesting and different from his many others I attend before.
The venue was very intimate, very private, he sang songs from third day , and new releases as well.
He sang happy birthday to me , which made this one my best birthday yet.
I love his music, it really speaks to my heart,
In may situations of my life the lyrics of his songs have been words that God used to lift me up.
I love his sweet spirit.
I’m a fan forever.
Tremendous
The whole gang is great. Met the family members all very nice. All 4 bands were fantastic.
The house of Independents was fabulous
Thank you Nita for a great tour. And thank for the dollar bill you signed
I’ve seen better NBT shows. I might be over critical or generationally bias but the shows are too polished or choreographed and lacking the stage presence rockstars should have.
Connor, the lead singer is soft and doughy. Worst haircut ever. His whole appearance and stage presence needs an immediate upgrade. However, on a lighter. Note, his voice is very powerful and the songs are produced very well. Without that they’d be a D band instead of a B band.
absolutely phenomenal!! all of the boys put on a great show! i thought the stage presence would be a little weaker with matty gone but i was totally wrong! i hope they come to new jersey again soon!
