Amazing performance, love this duo! My husband and I have been fans for years (our kids grew up listing to the O’ Be Joyful album) and we were thrilled when the Austin show was announced. Such a special experience seeing them perform live; charming, talented and authentic, one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen! Hope they come back to Texas soon 🤩, I’ll try not to sing along too loudly along next time , or at least I’ll sort of try, just so good for the soul.
The whole show was awesome! Danielle, Brandon and GoGo Ray played to perfection....such dynamics and arrangements left me exhausted, but fully satisfied. How do they put out great music with such energy every night? How does Danielle sing like that for nearly two hours? I will be back again and again, because every show I've seen is different and better with lots of little surprises in their performances.
Fucking phenomenal show!! Antone's is such a quaint, intimate venue that there's really not a bad seat in the house! This was my first time seeing RCPM since 1997; when they were still branding themselves The Refreshments.
Electric atmosphere. Everybody singing along. RCPM fans are truly a different breed. Each and every one feels like family. Or, at the very least, your favorite cousin that you only get to see on important holidays. No bullshit politics. No drama or discordance of any kind. No random assholes that make you wonder if they're worth getting kicked out over...
Even if you've never heard of them or maybe only consider yourself a casual fan, you absolutely MUST see them when they come to town! I promise you that, if you're not a fan beforehand, you will be after the show!! 🤘🏻
As always, RCPM delivers a high energy show playing songs from across their extensive catalog. From Refreshments bangers, to RCPM storytellers songs, you get everything! They inteoduced a new song tonight and even mixed in a Tom Petty classic! Rin, don't walk to tje next show in your area. RCPM is American, Southwestern Rock and roll and their music will reel you in and you will have a great time!
Fantastic once in a lifetime show!!! So glad I didn’t miss it. Will be dreaming about it for quite some time. Always love Marcia Ball, and being introduced to some of her favorite artists and hearing her play along with them was phenomenal. If you ever have the chance to hear five legendary R&B pianists on stage,, don’t miss it!
Trouble in the Streets was high energy melodic jazzy rapping mixed with defibrillation beats. JV always brings the cool kids with her. JV also burned down the building on this particular night. More screaming than I’ve heard since the 70’s. My sister and I had a blast. I’m going back this week. Suggest you do too!
Didn’t go to the show, but watched it stream. There are 3 more every Saturday in January. JV is one of the best Live acts going, a rockstar that everyone should see. GO SEE THIS SHOW @Antones the 13th, or 20th, or @The Paramount on the 27th. You will witness beautiful soul revealing songwriting and monstrous guitar virtuosity!
A Cowboy Mouth show is like and old time tent revival of rockin New Orleans influenced mayhem.
Fred is the most powerful and engaging frontman out there, and the band is as good today as thirty years ago.
If you were there, you are probably still singing,
and if you weren't, better luck next time.
So good
We flew in from Iowa, and with delays, we got to see one of our favorite song writers, enjoy an encore, and because Suzanne is so amazing and down to earth, we were able to connect and get a picture
Amazing experience and cannot wait to be on time for the next one and soak in more
Awesome show. Found these guys in early 2022 when One by One came on my random playlist. Proceeded to get all their albums.
Show did NOT disappoint. I understand that Gary Clark, Jr. was there (saw him at Tesla for cyber rodeo; also great).
Now live about an hour and a half south of Tampa.
Can we get a show this way?
Amazing these guys have so much fun while they are playing. To see two guitar masters playing facing one another smiling is a wonderful thing to witness. Glen's vocals one of of the tunes had a Marvin Gaye quality. The followup secret performer also blew the roof of the joint last night wow wow wow.
This was a great show with opening artists that were extremely talented as well. I thought it was a little short but the logistics of setting up a tour is outside my expertise. If she had multiple shows? I would have went to all of them. Hope to see her again on your.
Loved the vibe of the venue, first off. Second- the whole night was a memorable experience. From the delightful quirkiness to the unique delivery of music, the colorful visuals dancing with the delicious sounds to the friends and connection that were made through the creative inspiration, my heART is full. That 1 Guy is genuine and a fucking treat.
What an amazing group of musicians, singer and writers. A refreshing new sound blend of folk, indie and reggae. Rarely does the opening act steal my post concert attention from the headliner. But I have not been able to stop listening to this band. They have a bright and amazing future ahead of them. Come back to Texas and stay authentic to what you believe!
Best concert I’ve been to! It was a small venue but still the crowd was raging, so much energy and mosh pits were on point. He played most of the new songs from The Inspection album and old bangers too. Had a great time my legs are sore if you like that type of concert Cochise should be on your list of events.
OMG so good! From the smooth mellow to the face melting rock that JJ lays down! The best instrumental concert (and only?) I've ever been to! The music was great, but what also made it such a fun time is Delvon & Jimmy poking at each other and during the songs really messing with each other. They signed my stuff without any problems, very friendly guys, Shortcake is very friendly as well!
I've been waiting 3 years to see DL3 in Austin. They did not disappoint. Jimmy James is by far one of the best guitarist i've ever seen. The show was lightly attended at Antones. Too bad for those who missed out with a real treat! These dudes are talented and brought the receipts.
They sounded just as incredible live at they do on the albums! They are incredible musicians to watch live. All 3 of them were happy to talk to, take pics with and sign merch for their fans. The crowd had a great vibe, full of friendly and passionate fans all sharing the experience of seeing a great band perform their craft. You have any doubts about seeing them live don't hesitate. Buy your ticket and go! I can't wait to see them again in LA in November!
It was a l o t of tik tok kids that made it hard to enjoy the show when they were having their flashes on the whole time to film themselves dancing it was almost impossible to see past the crowd of phones. But Ricky himself did AMAZING the fans just made it hard to enjoy :/
Amanda was beautiful, engaging, and sang amazing as always. The opener, L.A.Edwards, completely caught me by surprise. They were very impressive and wonderful guys to boot! Antone's is certainly a spectacular place to see anyone. The acoustics are very good, the bar is great, and there is no bad place to stand.
