This show was spectacular! 25 years later and these guys have still got it! The vibes were immaculate and just what we needed to keep pushing on through this political crisis moment. Can't thank them enough! Go see the show!
Godly was amazing. The energy was definitely there, and "f*** elon" was definitely my favorite song (PLEASE put it on streaming!) Halfway through the show, Godly started throwing whistles into the crowd, and told everyone to open the pit when someone blows a whistle. so much fun
At 63i I’ve been to many many band shows. This was the ABSOLUTE VERY BEST that I’ve ever attended. I figured Asbury Lanes had a much smaller capacity and that’s what got me very excited to get tickets bc of Everclear being my most favorite band and being at a small venue encouraged such n intimate environment where we could look at one another eye, have a connective conversation, etc.
I am so very much hoping that they will return to that faculty again or I may have to start following them around the country!!
Now why I paid like $125 a ticket for GA thinking there was a difference in seating, but there is not. But I’d pay that again bc it is exactly how I want and like seeing my most fav most fav band.
DEF better than Stone Pony. Clean place, big open rafters & floor. Stage can be seen from everywhere except right at the entrance. The two bar areas are gorgeous tho I assume from other comments that the drinks are priced just as wildly as any other
concert venue. Sound system is damned good, tho if you’re ND you will prolly want to have some kind of ear protection. Lightning would have been excellent if they hadn’t had the freakin xenon headlights of stage lighting swing directly into the audience’s eyes every other minute.
As for the Dolls, the show and music was KILLER. The chemistry of the band is strong af, Sam’s voice is powerful and moving, and overall they simply drew us in. It’s not every act that can have you laughing, crying, and party hyped all in the span of an hour or so. I cannot stress strongly enough, that if you have the chance to see them, TAKE IT!!!!
Arrows in Action put on a phenomenal show as always, and the opening acts of Elliot Lee and Brooke Alexx were awesome! I had the VIP pass so I could meet the band in person, they're super cool and genuinely good guys, I can't recommend them enough!
Kassi was fantastic! Lots of positive energy! Only issue I found with the venue was the acoustics. Honestly you couldn’t understand what she or the opener were singing. But you could understand them when they were speaking. And I stood in different areas too. I like that it’s a small venue vs stadiums but not sure I’d return due to acoustics.
I had an amazing time. This was my third time seeing them and Hail the Sun never fails to deliver a fun and memorable experience. I highly recommend giving them a listen and seeing their shows!
Completely Unchained is just like Van Halen awesome show actually I went to the Long Island show awesome I met Jean the lead singer of the tribute band he was great great guy everything in the show was very authentic the costumes to what they were wearing to the music the performance the whole show and the band members too a must see show for everyone!!
Venue was really cool. I came to mainly see Holding Absence and Thornhill who put on awesome shows. The Plot in You put on a pretty good show but I didn’t find it quite as captivating as the openers. Their stage production was pretty awesome though.
I’ve seen Ani before and this time the sound was off, I going to say it’s the venue. Ani’s vocals and guitar just weren’t as strong as in the past. She acknowledged it and said “she didn’t know what to do about it”. Seemed like the PA system just wasn’t as good. She’s always great to see and puts on a great show.
Love Snail Mail but the venue had issues with the audio, and the set was only 45 mins. Spent over an hour waiting for them after the opener. And they don't do encores.I was expecting a little more from a band I hold so high up and support so much
As the comment sections are always the best place for a band to truly learn of their standing in the world, I’ll start with the Amazing-ness and Awe-some creation that was their concert.
Then I’ll go on to speak of a master class I took once, “The Neuroscience of Acting”: in it the instructor said for us each to have a list of 3 things that, as soon as we even think of each one of the things on the list, regardless of our emotional state at the time, make us smile. (To protect us when we have to go other places for our art.) The top of my short list is FLOOD. Since I first heard it in the ‘90s, it has been on this list of instant smile makers.
Thank you for that, guys. And for the awesome show last night!
FOREST BLAKK IS NOT ONLY AN AMAZINGLY TALENTED SINGER, BUT HE IS THE MOST HUMBLE AND KIND HUMAN YOU WILL EVER ENCOUNTER. HE ENGAGES WITH HIS AUDIENCE LIKE NO OTHER PERFORMER. HE GAVE A TRULY AMAZING, INTIMATE, AND SPECIAL PERFORMANCE THAT I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER.
Been dying to see you guys for a while. I had tickets to the Sayerville show the end of last year but ended up in hospital and missing it😞. But LUCKILY I spotted this show (actually only half hour away to boot!) The show was phenomenal! My friend I'd new to the music but is now a fan for sure!! Great show and can't wait to see you all again!! 🤘🤘🤘
Simply amazing. Small venue added to that personal and memorable touch. Sound and lighting was top notch quality w/ professionalism at its peak. It’s a rarity to see a top notch performer and his accompanying band play in AP.... great job..!!!
It was my first standing room only concert. The venue was so safe and quaint and Andy was super funny on stage. I made him a Batman string art and he actually took the time to ask me how I made it and he was really genuine and sweet
Love Snail Mail but the venue had issues with the audio, and the set was only 45 mins. Spent over an hour waiting for them after the opener. And they don't do encores.I was expecting a little more from a band I hold so high up and support so much
Opening acts amazing. Crowd amazing. Mom jeans fucking amazing. One of the best concerts I’ve been to in a while. I just want to reiterate that just friends was too fucking stellar.
One of the best shows I've ever seen. Never heard of Just Friends before last night but they are now a key feature to my playlists. Mom jeans was insane and the atmosphere of the crowd was incredible.
Great show great band!!!
As much as the inside of the lanes has changed, the location of the stage is perfect for the layout. And sound was good
But with that said it still looks like a douche bag department store you’d see in every mall ever
