Drake was born to be a performer. Would give him 10 stars if I could. We had a great time. He was fantastic. His voice is really special. He performed all of his songs (perfectly) and covered lots of oldies from the 60s, 70’s and 80’s. He was shockingly good. I would buy tickets again tomorrow :) Side note, the venue was also enjoyable, but they definitely need to have some more food options. The “food truck out back” only serves 3 things. Wings, fries, and nachos. That’s it. Good but overpriced. We would eat ahead of time if we ever go there again. There seems to be lots of options in the area. All in all a fun night :)
I was unable to get tickets, and the means to do so seemed a bit unreliable. I feel certain it was a Great Show at a fun venue though . Jack and his players are tight professional musicians that know how to rip the ears off their attendees. I have viewed footage of this show and it looked wonderful! Wish I could have gotten tickets both times I tried. (Vault & General)
I bought tickets to this show just to see Fame on Fire. Turns out they were my least favorite band of the night. SiM is so fun live! Crystal Lake and Within Destruction were fantastic also. Pretty disappointed in Fame on Fire's choice to play a really slow cover of Kryptonite right in the middle of the set. They've got way better songs they could have put in that spot.
AHHHH so amazing i fr wasnt a SiM fan before this but they have such crazy good stage energy and spirit, seem like great dudes that still know how to bring the house down. crowd was amazing, super supportive and friendly no complaints except for the last opener b4 the headliner was sooo bad bc 1) totally different music, every band was screaming and these guys sounded like imagine dragons 2) bc they were so low energy they totally killed the amazing atmosphere that the other two openers started!!! ok and speaking of the first two were amazing, sorry i don't remember their names i was too busy MOSHINGGGG
What a great show! Glad the boys are back on the road. We saw them several times back in Columbus in 2013. They still sound great and have a lot of energy. Lots of good interaction with the fans. There are a few fun surprises on the set list that I don't want to spoil. We had just a great night with a fun band.
amazing crowd, a little quiet during cowgirl clue, but they went absolutely ballistic once enjoy came out. lots of energy, felt very authentic and present. some ppl hogging the rail spots just to film, always annoying, but unfortunately that's just status quo at any shows these days. everyone was super supportive and looking out for each other in the pit. i lost my shoe TWICE and random ppl helped me get it back without being trampled. seriously great vibes. gotta work on the crowd surfing, though. too many people were getting dropped :( i think even some of the band was dropped.
both ashley and wyatt had amazing stage presences, absolutely top notch. however, we waited outside the venue for over an hour only to be told the band wasn't going to see us. it was my first time waiting on a band and i don't think they should be expected to come see us but if they knew we were there waiting they should've said something sooner, because it was actually freezing and everyone was wearing bras and ripped jeans.
Absolutely loved this show. The basement east was a perfect venue. Wasn’t to hot. Got meet and greets to meet Alexandra Kay she was the sweetest person! Signed a picture my husband got for me for my birthday with her song on it. And her signing it just made it more special! AK put on one heck of a show sang every word to every song! The opening act Haley Mae Campbell was also amazing as well she got so emotional everyone was having blast hearing her perform she is so talented and only wish the best for her can’t wait for her to start headlining her own shows she truly deserves it! The venue was great, the performances was amazing overall the best night I’ve had in a long time so thankful I was able to meet both AK and Haley if you haven’t seen them perform if you ever get a chance please do it is so worth it! We drove 2 hours away from home and had an awesome time was definitely worth the drive
Another amazing night ! This was show number 13 for me ! Alexandra kay puts on the best show ! If you haven’t been to one you’re missing out ! Following AK on this amazing journey has been my favorite thing to do ! Give it up for one hard working incredible independent artist ! Congratulations sis you definitely made it ! All that hard work is finally paying off ! I’m so happy for you !
The show was amazing! Yoke Lore was perfect as always. The venue was smaller, but the crowd was very respectable and made for a very intimate evening. Yoke Lore's open Girlhouse was also amazing, they were very interactive with the crowd! Apparently there are 2 basements in Nashville which made for a little confusion finding the right venue, but they are 3 miles apart so it wasn't hard to navigate between the 2.
L.S. Dunes are truly AMAZING. The venue was awesome, and perfect for this band. It was so cool being so up close and personal to a band for the first time. Anthony has this amazing stage presence that really draws you in. Looking him in the eyes while screaming to the songs is probably one of the best things that's happened to me. Everyone in the band is so sweet, and i highly recommend seeing them sometime if you haven't. I for sure want to see them again.
Absolutely amazing show! The venue was great, the management and workers were all outstanding. They were totally cool with us having our daughter who’s underage at the show as we checked ahead of time and they marked her as such. This is my eighth time to see Big Wreck/Thornley. If you haven’t you have to! Ian is a guitarist’s guitarist on top of phenomenal vocals and incredible songwriting craftsmanship. And the entire band is mega talented and tight. But the most important quality about these guys is how down home they are and willing to spend time with their fans. They were amazing to our daughter. Sekou treated us like family.
Also have to mention the openers were tons of fun, Gloom Girl MFG. Also treated my daughter like royalty and gave her a shirt and signed drumstick. She’ll never forget this show and we won’t either!
Big Wreck was awesome, as always. Great set list. The sound was very good. The venue was packed. Looked like a sold out show to me. And the crowd was very engaged. Often singing along and dancing/jumping around. Ian's voice was strong. His guitar playing was humbling. Everytime I hear him play, it makes me want to either quit playing guitar or go home and practice. They played quite a few new songs but made sure to play the most popular ones in their catalog. If you get a chance to see Big Wreck, do it! Hopefully they will continue to play spots in the US. Killer band.
What an intimate setting. Really appreciated the detailed and thoughtful talent on stage.
Aoife performed the entire Bruce Springsteen album “Nebraska” with vim and vigor precisely matching the spirit of the piece.
Adding to the night more Aoife compositions with a surprise accompaniment from Sarah Jarosz cheered us. Then our lovely Nashville Queen Emilylou Harris graced us with her presence. Singing and glowing. Aoife was as taken as we were.
Our musical sisters can sure comfort our soul in these troubling times.
Blessed to meet Aoife after the show.

First I have to say the staff at this place are remarkable. I was in a cast and the manager Phil promised to make every precaution for my health issue. I was on a pushable scooter with my cast and we had a front row parking space to start our night out. Then the sweetest lady gave me a ride on this lift to the second floor where we were then escorted to our reserved table. The bands were great, the atmosphere was great, the people we met were all nice, and I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK!!!
Jive Talk wooed the hometown crowd with their eclectic retro synth pop setting the mood for the incomparable Kanika Moore & Doom Flamingo. They absolutely slayed the crowd and sent me to the moon! One of the best first band encounters I have ever experienced! Doom expertly played the crowd and Ms Moore’s powerhouse voice lead us on a magical night of dancing & fun! Don’t miss this band!!!!!
Memphis May Fire was fantastic! Great show. From Ashes to New are polished and wonderful. Rain City Drive were solid. Wolves at the Gate are utter garbage. Bad sound guy. Couldn't understand them. Not very talented. And decided to stop for 20 minutes to talk about how misunderstood Jesus is. Won't be seeing Wolves at the Gate again. Other than those losers... great show.
This crowd of mostly middle aged college friends was fired up and ready for the headliners: Government Cheese.
An arduous challenge to be the opening act, Ned killed it. He always does. Whether you have have know him for 30 years or 30 minutes, he will not disappoint. Have an easy conversation with him - you will learn and laugh and perhaps even love the world a little more. Stay for the show; fasten your seat belts and enjoy the ride. Ned will be cleverly taking you to incredibly places.!
Maddie’s voice is just simply amazing but in person it is like an out of this world experience! She engages the audience so well and the crispness, clarity and richness of her tone is a must see for music lovers. Run, don’t walk to her next show! Can’t wait for her to do another show in Nashville. We also enjoyed the venue, with ease of parking and the sound quality was great also. The staff was very friendly at The Basement East and the crowd was friendly and easy going. Will definitely be back if she plays here again.
field medic and spookyghostboy were amazinggggg. i loved them so much. and cavetown was sooooo frickin good. his runs were perfect and his voice sounded beautiful. him and spookyghostboy and field medic were very interactive with the audience. it honestly felt like home, like the concert was in my living room or something. robbie was so smiley and happy tho whole time and very funny. it was the best concert i've ever been to. my friend, sammie, said it was the best thing she has done all year. and my friend, maya, cried the whole show. i loved it and i would love to see him again.
Awesome show! Nita is an amazing guitar player and her band rocks too. To the crowd’s delight, Dave Ellefson and Kiko Loureiro from Megadeth made guest appearances. Dave rocked out to “Aces High” by Iron Maiden and Kiko played on Nita’s cover of “I’m 18” by Alice Cooper. After the show Nita hung out and met fans and took pictures, which was really cool.
