1,000 ⭐️s. Love, love, love y’all so much! We had an amazing time seeing you again. Concert #2 in the books for The Struts! We were introduced to you only by chance the year before in Memphis. Unforgettable! And obviously we just had to see y’all again. PLEASE come back around the TN area soon! We would love to have a chance for concert #3. (Sorry for such a late review)
The show was amazing. I gave a lower rating because for a time I was sitting in the ADA section due to an injury I sustained earlier in the week. It seemed like that was where all the younger kids came and i wasn’t able to hear for them yelling and screaming and then to make it worse they started coming in the section with chairs and blocked my view. I understand kids being excited but I thought the workers should’ve done a better job keeping them out of the section for disabled people.
Didn't care much for the openers but Nimesh made up for it with an amazing set. He dealt with hecklers in a humorous way and the venue was pretty cool. I felt like a bum in my normal clothes though, so many people were dressed up like they were going to prom. Definitely a different show than what I'm used to. 10/10 would recommend & I will be buying tickets if he comes back to Nashville.
Thank you Nimesh!
One of the best shows I've been too!! I loved all 4 bands and I even got a setlist from Spite! August Burns Red are absolutely amazing and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to Meet and Greet with them and get signed vinyls. Overall the show and the whole team and crew at Marathon Music Works were everything you could ask for. The security were very attentive and really awesome people to talk to through the show. I enjoyed every minute of it❤️🤘
Seriously amazing every time. I was so close ! I did get a shoe to the eye which has given me pink eye from a crowd surfer tho. Still , 100/10 I would always recommend. VIP was 100% worth every penny. Even tho I was at the end of the meet and greet so I def felt a little rushed. But they were kind. I drive 4 hrs one way to see them. And I would go further. Lol. They put on a great performance. But I truly hope they come closer to Knoxville next time.
The show was everything to me. Those fellas are truly gifted and so humble. For Glock to say thank y’all for coming out to support me and the team. That just goes to show, how genuine his character is and all of the performers too!Wonderful Show!!! If he ever comes back to Nashville, oh I’m definitely going to be in the building again. It don’t get no better than PRE!!!!💯✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾💙💛 Dolph was represented as well, in the best way possible last night. #LLD 🐬and #LLBS🥶
PRE4Life. #ISTAMPTHAT!👌🏾😉
This venue is awesome. Sound was great and the venue was very clean. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Food was amazing and the drinks came quick. Polyphia was simply the best. Words cannot describe how amazing they sound live. The guitar playing lifts you off into another dimension while the rhythm section punches you in the chest. Unprocessed was the biggest surprise of the night. They kicked the night off right. They played so hard I thought the bass player was going to rip the neck off his bass guitar. I highly recommend the venue both bands and rock and roll.
I had never heard of Bleed From Within until that night. They were absolutely incredible! They had such amazing musicality and stage presence, great songs, and were generally so grateful to be there. The guys were all so approachable too, after the show they were taking pictures and talking to non-VIPs like me at the merch table. 1000% respect bands that do that. I remember telling my buddy that price of admission (≈$40) and the 2 hour drive was worth it just to see them play their 5 song set. Will absolutely listen to their whole discography.
However, I didn't really care for TDWP, they said all the right things, but the music wasn't really my thing. They sang about things I don't care about, and they generally just kind of put off this arrogant vibe. I don't know. I never really listened to them before, but first impressions were pretty weak. They were very enigmatic and musical on stage but it didn't really capture my attention. I found myself wanting them to stop playing so ABR could get more stage time.
ABR. I could write an essay about all the things they did right in that show. Man, what a performance! There's a reason these guys have done it for so long and kicked it with the biggest bands out there. The stage effects were tasteful and flashy in equal parts and it was awesome. The band are absolute masters of their craft, and everyone was just having the time of their life. They played such a strong set with a ton of crowd pleasers, perfect for a 20th anniversary set. It was worth every second waiting in line from 4:30PM until 11:30PM at the end of the show. Not only did they come back and do an encore, the drummer did an incredible 5 minute long solo, and they did another encore song just because. After the show the guys were just talking about life and hanging out with the audience on the front rail. All the guys were so cool and appreciative of everyone. Just because of this show they contend for my favorite band of all time. I always loved their music but seeing them live was more than an experience.
Great show and performances. microphones could have been turned up a little louder. Show started on time. Ari and opening artists did a phenomenal job and you can tell lots of time went in to the performance. As a meet and greet ticket holder, I felt that the VIP merchandise could have been better, especially the bag given. Overall, this was easily a top 2/3 concerns I’ve been to.
last night was fun and amazing I just wish a lot more people would have been respectful and knew what the music was about and not be so judgmental but overall it was a good night it sucks cuz last time they got to play more songs maybe because they had to bump the hours up for the doors to open and it was cold as shit outside when we left but other than that it wasn't a total loss
This was 100% the best concert I have ever been to. All four bands preformed fantastically and well as interacting with the audience a-lot. Trivium was my favorite act, Whitechapel was my second favorite, Between the Buried and me and Khemmis I liked the same amount. Marathon music works is an awesome venue because it has a huge floor to stand on so you can go wherever you want whenever you want. There were also alot of trashcans so i did not have to worry about finding a place to throw away my drink. The crowd was very enthusiastic and there was alot of moshing and crowd surfing which was fun. The fact that the tickets were only $50 made this show that much better. I will defiantly be going back to this venue in the future.
What a great show! Feelin' the love for Nashville from TK. They sounded great and happy to be home.
I especially loved the song Solid Ground - strong southern rock tinges and amazing guitars.
The Keifer Band has their own style, but the Cinderella covers are super fun. I also loved them playing Night Songs.
My first time at MMW and I enjoyed it thoroughly! I hope they keep booking great "retro" and current rock shows.
the best memory was when I met this girl that she never mosh pitted or crowd surf and that night she did both like more then four or five lol and somebody else try to do it and they made her fall she kind of hit her head she told me that they dropped her and she rather crowd surf or Mosh pit when I'm there and that she thanks me for watching over her her crew and keeping them safe and might I add she was kind of cute too
I’d give anything to relieve this show again! Energy and performance were top notch from simple plan and sum41, set it off put on a good show but their audio was very muddy sounding. Audio in the room for Lux loft left a bit to be desired. Wouldn’t pay that again but having dedicated bar tender and bathroom was a plus. Staff was friendly and everything was relatively clean compared to many venues I’ve been to.
I have seen them 15 times and this was one of their BEST PERFORMANCES by far! They've always been great but they keep getting better. They were on fire and they killed it last night! The venue is one of my favorites in Nashville that I have been to so far. Thank you Marathon Music Works and Thank you, Luke, Adam, Gethin and Jed. You have changed lives. 🤘❤😁🔥
Top notch. Was really awesome sitting watching the movie being projected while the band watched it with you but then picked up
Their instruments when it was time to
Jam. I love this music and I love
Argento and Italian horror. Me and my woman met the band at the merch table after they played at least a solid hour of nonSuspiria live
score, took some pics, got autographs. So yes they played the Suspiria score
But also threw the fuck down with some surprises toward the end! See them.
Spectacular show with an amazing opener and use of light display. Been a fan of EDEN maybe 4-5 years ago, before EDEN was even known as EDEN. I never really listened to his Vertigo album, but nevertheless his performance was outstanding, and songs he released years ago that I knew really made the amazing show even more special. EDEN is in this special part of my heart that I can never let go of. Amazing show, miss it already
Rise against has never put on a bad show and i have been to a few now and each one feels like my very first show. I will follow them to the venue closest every time. All the bands were amazing, the venue was the nicest i have been to yet. Anti-flag was a blood pumping success! A.f.i was a damn dream boat, i never thought i would get to see them live and let me tell you that was one on my bucket list and it was amazing.
AFI was freaking awesome like always. Rise Against was great too, but their mix was bad, Tim's voice didn't come through clearly enough (at least in the couple spots I tried), and when he was speaking I could barely understand a word; this was odd because his live vocals are usually much clearer than most bands I see. Other than that, awesome, I hope to make it to more shows on this tour..
Anti Flag was a bit disappointing to me however, like they were trying too hard to act punk.
Awesome show just like every AFI show I've ever been to; gladly they always play a good amount of old songs, not just new ones. Every time I'm amazed that they still hold the energy of a much younger band- I can't think of any band who puts on a better live show.
My only complaint is that it was way too short since they were opening instead of headlining.
