Grace made my sister feel so special for her birthday. She’s such a sweetheart, and she is honestly one of the most talented songwriters and vocalists of our generation. 100% would recommend seeing her live if possible. (This was our second time seeing her. First was opening for Maisie at First Ave.)
Ashley is THE BEST. This was such an intimidate concert venue. She sounded just like she did on her album. She was sick and was losing her voice but still put on a great show. She came out to meet us when we were waiting for the doors to open for her and after her show she stuck around and met people. She told a picture with everyone who wanted one and even gave away some of her merch to me so that I could get her autograph
Tina and the B-Sides rocked the roof off The Entry. The music and the energy -incredible! The 2.5 hour show was heartfelt, uplifting and fierce all at once. Exactly what the packed house needed.
Such a delight to see these Twin Cities legends still going strong! 🫶
Donovan Woods was one of my favorite artists before I went to his concert. We (my wife and (2) adult daughters) were lucky enough to see him in a very intimate concert venue. He was sounded amazing, was funny, and made some magic moments with the crowd. I look forward to seeing him again!
She was so good!! It was my first time seeing her live and I've been listening to her music for the last couple years--can't hype her up enough. If you like her voice over the recordings you'll be happy to hear her live. Please go support her!!
Show was amazing, the band was super tight. Cole was nice enough to stick around and pose for a picture with my 16 year old daughter, who is a big fan and just learned how to play coal shooter from her guitar teacher. Catch a show if you can, you won’t regret it!
I love this band and seeing them live. Their interaction with the advance was excellent. The venue is small and that is wonderful because there is not a bad spot in the house It's easy to see and hear the band. The draw back was that there was not a lot of room for merchandise tables or a line for people buying merchandise. I would definitely see this band if they come to Minnesota again.
I would also go to another show at this same venue in this smaller room. it has some drawbacks because of space but it did make the show cozy and personal.
Great show. I went to 7th Street Entry not knowing either RX Cowboy or Zheani.
RX Cowboy opened with himself and put on a heavy beat show. Really got ya going.
Zheani came on and I really couldn't hear a word she was saying to the crowd. It possibly could be I need some alcohol but her words were sorta synthesized like an electronic bug or something and I just couldn't understand her.
Her songs were OK but after awhile they all sounded the same. I just wasn't able to get into her tunes. Sorry.
Fantastic show, so glad I went. I just discovered these guys this year and I love them. The venue was so cool, crowd was fun. Great performers and just a cool group. I might have to drive to their Chicago show on the Wax Bodega tour with Arms Length, Carly Cosgrove, and Ben Quad. If you get the chance to see Saturdays At Your Place, DO IT!
Love Luther! He’s a great guitar player and fun to watch. Talked to him after the show, he’s so humble and kind. I’m so happy to see Steve Gorman and Luther playing together again. I’ve been to many Black Crowes shows where I first saw Luther play. I wish I could go to more shows they are doing in the coming weeks! 🎶
Brilliant performance even though they'd been on the road all day.
FenixDion rocked hard , making it very hard to get decent video, the room was vibrating, and it was hard not to dance. But I hung in there for one song because the sound mix is the best at this place . These guys deserve more headlining gigs. But go see them wherever they are!
These guys were a blast to see. I came across them on Spotify and it’s always so relieving to see a band that performs as well as the studio tracks sound. Did a great job of controlling the energy, crowd was having a great time, and the sound was great. Definitely worth the money and time and I will be catching them again when they come back to Minneapolis. I say First Ave this time though.
Dead Poet Society put on a bangin’ performance, as always! The amount of passion & performance they put into their show is incredible! Being able to see them in a smaller venue this time was INCREDIBLE! The collaboration with the crowd was on point, as crowdsurfing & playing guitar in the crowd worked like a well-oiled machine!
10/10 Recommend you give them a listen & see their live performance. You will not be disappointed 👍🏻
Loveless was so good! They are talented musicians and singers and they played along with the crowd. They were also super caring and thoughtful, they made sure every fan got to meet them and get a photo and signature if they wanted one.
The venue was small and hot, it could have used at least one fan to keep air moving for the audience and the people on stage. Other than that is was a great venue with great sound and character.
I would 100% go see this band again and I would see other concerts at this venue!
Cane Hill fucking killed, just wish they had an hour long set. They ran too late and couldn't do an encore because of noise ordnances after 11 on week nights. If I didn't have to work this morning, I would have stayed for pictures with the band. (One of the best parts of seeing small bands in small venues: they are super accessable to fans.)
Afterlife was fantastic live, I'll definitely be listening to more of them after last night.
VCTMS isn't quite my cup of tea, but god damn if they didn't perform well. Also, watching the drummer was my favorite part, she brought so much fucking energy!
Moodring was the band I was most excited for after Cane Hill, but I was a little disappointed. They had recorded music and vocals supporting a lot of their set, but they left the tour due to illness so I wouldn't critique them hard. Was still happy with what they played.
One of the most unique musical experiences I have ever witnessed. When the band came down from the stage to jam out with a portable mixer, bass and floor tom I was right next to the action! Super cool. Thanks for a very enlightening musical experience.
Definitely one of the best concerts I’ve ever been too! Ella is so sweet and her singing was phenomenal! I was front row and she would bend down and sing with me and my friend who are huge fans! Ella also came out to sing As It Was by Harry Styles with Peter Mcpoland. She also stayed after to meet fans and take pictures, she’s so sweet and if you ever have the opportunity to see her live you have to go!
Soulful and down-to-earth. His hitters hit home and he’s somehow waaaaay better in person still! My husband and I listen to Evan Bartels in our household just about 24/7. I only take off my Evan tee shirts to get into date night clothes to go see him. Love your work!! Thank you for signing our daughter, Saylah’s CD. Love to you!
I feel like the entire time I was exclaiming “oh my gosh his voice is REAL!” Wildly impressed with Max’s vocals. I had no idea what to expect from a live performance, but Max’s falsetto is even better than I expected in person. Bummed they didn’t play “moods” or “Pink Hue.” Four stars because I rate the entire concert experience and the crowd made it a little less enjoyable than I would have liked. I would definitely see Slenderbodies again!
Amazing! Like watching Sam Cooke and Stevie Ray Vaughn perform together at a private party. All the musicians were incredible. They deserve to be at First Ave mainstage or at The Armory next time around; venue: staff were nice but there wasn't enough space to dance and the guy in front of me smelled like meat sweat.
