Sacred Sin

Sacred Sin is a Portuguese Death metal band. Formed in 1991, the group released their first EP The Shades Behind in 1992, a year after the release of their first album Darkside and quickly gained status and became one of the most recognizable metal bands from Portugal being featured in all international media. Sacred Sin was the first Portuguese band to be featured on MTV Headbangers Ball with the music video from Darkside in 1993. They supported Napalm Death and Manowar and were the first Portuguese band to tour Europe with Cradle Of Filth and Vader. They got signed by BMG - Dinamite for the second album Eye M God released in 1995. The band stop activity in 2009, and returned in 2013 with the release the 20th anniversay edition of their first album. In March 2017 is released their 9th album Grotesque Destructo Art by Chaosphere Records. Band was touring and promoting this release and in December 19 new single is out "Burn Suffer Die". New album "Storms over the dying world" released in July, and in December the single and video for "Icons of blood" was released. New single ´`Midnight (tribute to long lost paradise)`` hit the digital platforms in February 2024, and will be released (limited edition only in vynil) in September 2024.
