Originally from country town Kapunda in South Australia; Louise Adams' overwhelming and all encompassing vocals and gutsy performances are wowing audiences throughout Victoria, SA, NSW and as far as Colombia, UK and even fronting a New York blues band in their home city! Her gift is a strong and powerfully feminine voice. At times gravelly, at others smooth, but always sending tingles down the spines of everyone in the room. She combines her distinct vocals with gutsy guitar melodies and her unique hand-made stomp box. Her flair for writing original music and lyrics, influenced by blues, country, folk and soul is surpassed only by her ability to win over a crowd; leaving them yearning for more. Some have compared her voice to amazing female vocalists such as Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane), Janis Joplin, Florence Welch (Florence and the Machine) and Patti Smith; compliments Louise will modestly brush aside, but nevertheless hold some truth.
