Denis Agenet & Nolapsters
Music made for dancing!
This group of experienced musicians churn out a subtle mix of Swing & New Orlean’s Rock-n-Roll. The high energy Nolapsters pull covers from the great NOLA musicians of the 40’s, 50’s & 60’s and Denis Agenet’s originals hold that Crescent City spirit.
Matt, has toured internationally for years as “Bo Weavil” and Denis and Abdell have toured regularly with recognized blues artists including: Mac Arnold, Omar Coleman, Tom Holland, Barrelhouse Chuck, Josh Miller, Jonn Del Toro Richardson, Nathan James, James Armstrong, Lynwood Slim, Dave Gross, Jennifer “Lil’ Red” Milligan, Jimmy Burns, Doctor Burt, RJ Mischo, Chris Ruest... and so on.
Together they’ve absorbed substantial knowledge and experience of African-American music. Their first 7 track album, “Who Dat?», released March 2018, lives up to their promise to deliver
