This was my very first time, seeing The 1975 play live and on tour. Well, my mind was blown right from the get-go! The set was well-lit with the use of single table lamps as well as layers of spectacular stage lighting. It was wonderfully quirky and original, almost a musical play in a sense, with all group members knowing their place on and off set. Matty, enjoyed his sexual prose as much as I did, with one particular scene, commencing with pretending to snog someone - with his arms hugging himself, then lay himself down on a couch, unbuttoning his shirt, lingering his hand at his crotch and being extremely suggestive with his gesticulating! After some general flirting and kneeling on the stage, he commenced biting like an animal, into a prime Ribeye of Beef before finally doing some press-ups and disappearing headfirst into a TV. Finally, right at the end, Matty tried climbing the Telephone pole, then decided against it! All being said, I can honestly say, I left the Theatre, a changed woman and genetically at that!

The 1975 were effortlessly entertaining and their show was filled with humor, amazing vocals, dancing, feel-good music, and some of the best visuals I’ve ever witnessed. Even if you have never heard their music, it is so easy to vibe with and they make sure to make everyone feel like a family for one night. There will be songs sure to make you dance and one or two to make you tear up. Regardless, they were amazing live and I recommend them to everyone!

So one critic wrote a review about this particular show and he went off on them. He wrote that he found the auto-tune very distasteful but that the youngsters didn’t seem to mind it since that’s what they’re used to with contemporary music.. He said it was bubblegum music that was too sweet for his taste. He also found the ‘peace offering’ Matty Healy did, where he stepped out into the rain, ridiculous (it was hilarious to me). I thought they’d curated a nice setlist since it included songs from their most recent album but also some fan favourites and they also chose to sing a song a fan had requested them to sing. The overall atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Mainly because the people in the audience were so kind to one-another and everything on stage was done perfectly; lighting, dancers, styling and the band. Say what you want about this band but they do know how to put on a great freaking show!

The 1975 concert was v good !! i have been a fan of them for several years now and i was so happy to have gotten to finally see them. i was in general admission and i had a great time. the pushing was v crazy and there was a point where i was stepping on several peoples toes at the same time. but after the first couple of songs the crowd died down and at some point matty told us to take two steps back, which helped a lot. other than that first part, it was just fine afterwards. i had a great night and The 1975 puts on a great show so i’ll definitely be seeing them again (:

It was quite an experience... to say the least. I had a GA ticket so getting close to the stage was difficult, even though I got there early. Also, it was delayed because of thunderstorms, so we had to cram into bathrooms for what seemed like hours. However, it was all worth it when I somehow made it to the second row despite the chaos lining up and they finally came out on stage. The set list was also amazing! Worth all the pain from standing for hours!

The concert was amazing, I loved every second of it. The 1975 and the others in the audience were really nice. I started crying somewhere towards the middle of the show but the mood was lightness towards the end. This doesn't have anything to do with the show but I saw a person with the most amazing eyes I've ever seen but being the awkward mess I am I was too scared to say anything. I have a three second clip of them from when I was filming around the audience so if someone knows who it is please tell me

performers are amazing and put on a great show! i became a fan of the two new opening acts. they weren't very interactive with the crowd but played a few surprise songs. the venue was horribly unorganized and lots of people arrived late then cut into the line with the people who had camped and waited all day because security was not out as early as they should have been. but overall a beautiful venue once inside although unclear lines and great songs

The music was awesome but it was my first time seeing the 1975 and I hadn't done much background research on the band, only listened to the setlist to prepare. In my opinion though Matty Healy seemed arrogant and was rude to fans who payed a lot of money and time to be there. A fan with a bouquet of roses up front tried to give them to him during a song but he took them and threw them on the stage without another thought. During a speech in between songs some people in the front were yelling and he told them to shut up. Just did not seem like he appreciated his fans at all so I will not be seeing this band again.

The concert itself was satisfactory. Worth $100 for two? Nah. Last years performance was much better. I could do without the drab existential bullshit from the lead singer, as well as, their blatant disregard for the venue's rule of no smoking. It's also influencing our youth that it's cool to smoke, again, and that's not too awesome. There were a lot of young faces in the crowd this year, much more than last year, so I say take responsibility of your image and do something a little more positive. Also, the saxophone is dope, keep that up. Lastly, let's hear some made up solos!

The band was so good! Excellent performers. I had my doubts going in because they have quite a few slow and even instrumental songs, but they kept the show entertaining and captivating. Especially the visual effects on the screen. Lovely. Only thing was that the way we lined up was very unorganized and confusing, the crowd was super bitchy, as well as the fact that the opening act did not pump up the crowd at all. but that's not their fault, so for the band only 10/10, but i have to take off at least half a star for everything else. But I will 100% be seeing the 1975 again, as soon as possible!

Amazing, at the very beginning, before the show even started, everyone in the pit pushed together to try to get to the front and you couldn't even move an arm, but Matty requested that everyone take 3 steps back to be comfortable. They all played amazingly, and some of their more instrumental songs this time, and even added Fallingforyou back on the set list because they missed it :). It was also hilarious when Matty started sympathizing against the issues in America right now and said something along the lines of "so in conclusion, we all agree to, fuck Donald Trump" 😂

This band is incredible live! Matty Healy is so entertaining to watch and he interacted with the crowd super well. I highly suggest getting front row if possible! The Fox was a great venue as it's so beautiful and the ushers were super helpful and kind and showed us to our seats! The only draw back was that there was only one merchandise booth, but even so, the line moved super quickly and I only waited for 20 minutes maximum.

Absolutely phenomenal ❤️ I was initially wary about going to a concert for a band that I didn't know much about, but didn't seem to matter. It was such a lovely way to be properly introduced to the music, the atmosphere was lovely. Thank you for the experience guys! Especially adored If I Believe You, the lights in that were fantastic. Loving Someone too was one of my other favourites, among many others ☺️ I understand that apparently he isn't actually within the band, but that sax player was talented af too 🙌

There are no words to describe the way I felt last night. While the hoards stood tightly packed in heat under the pavilion for quite some time awaiting the performance, the nearly two hour long set list made up for all of the discomfort. The opening band, Wet, was pretty good as well. I especially loved the solemn moment when the band (Matty) acknowledged the event which occurred in Orlando. It tied in nicely with their tribute to pride month. It was truly touching to be in a room surrounded by people who understood its significance. I can safely say that last night was the best way to kick off summer 'sixteen. I don't regret a single moment of it.

The experience was amazing. Matty the lead singer is a great performer and it was spectacular! The band as a whole was extremely talented and even though Ross' face was completely stoic, I know that he was enjoying himself just as much as we were enjoying them. The lights throughout the show were perfect and it made their performance that much more aesthetically pleasing. The fog was a bit much on my side since I was to the right of the stage but it didn't stop me from enjoying myself. The people that this band reaches two is so vast but all alike are so nice and they aren't so unfriendly. I give this band a good 10/10 and I completely recommend attending a show (or two).

they sounded so amazing live and it was so great and i am still flashed! but i saw them already 2 years ago and the merch was not thag expensive and there were only the true fans and yesterday were a lot of people who barely knew 3 songs and blocked my way and didnt really deserve to be there.. but that's not the band fault! anyway the mixture from new and old songs was perfect and they were wonderful, especially the combination of light and music!

the 1975 took soo long to come out after the opening bands finished, but once they did it was amazing. they sound so great live. my friend and I ended up leaving the main pit of the venue because the heat and all the shoving fan girls were ridiculous, but once we got to the side it was awesome because everybody was actually dancing and enjoying themselves instead of freaking out over matty being on stage. the venue itself was small, they held the concert in the center room (usually where vendors and people were) instead of where the main stage room with the balconies and whatnot were (went to a lana del rey concert at this venue in may 2014) which confused me because the center room was pretty small compared to the other room. the venue was just overfull really, and the concession area completely closed

The concert itself was great however the amount of pushing in the beginning was a bit uncalled for. I understand that it's a concert and some shoving happens but to literally not be able to move your arms and be breathing in someone's hair is where I draw the line. The fans need to chill and enjoy the music and calm down a few couple notches. Other than that, the 1975 never disappoint and wags put on a great show.

I got a tattoo of the The 1975 logo about a week ago and it was my mission for Matty to see it. And from the front row, he did. He blew me a kiss and smiled so big when he saw it. Probably my favorite moment ever. It was literally the best show I've ever seen in my life, and even with general admission and hundreds of people pushing me forward, nothing could ever compare. Without a doubt, best band I have ever seen live.

This was my second time seeing them and they were just so amazing. Matty is really good about interacting with everyone, Adam is such a joy to watch when he gets so into the songs and he just rhythmically bobs throughout the whole set. Ross slappa da bass so hard and George shreds the shit outta his drums. They play hard and loud and fast and they hold the crowd so well during the slower songs. I love the ever living shit out of this band and if you ever have the chance to see them TAKE IT.
