Line to get in was 2 hours long, and then there was another 20 minute line to get through the security.
The venue was well designed, but everything was very far apart and a bit too controlled. This made the experience leas fluid and fun. However, i liked how safe it felt. The wait time and the huge layout with sometimes arbitrary lanes of travel were annoying. The stage and setup were great. Fun show, but not worth the huge wait.

It was such an amazing concert. They closed the festival, and I was over the moon. Such a display of talent. It was a completely unique experience.

A propos de Pendulum
One of the most iconic electronic acts of all time, Pendulum are back. Marking the end of their hiatus with a brand new EP ‘Elemental’ and a stunning run of headline festival shows, Pendulum are now fully gearing up for a monumental year of shows with the live band and more new music in 2024.
Releasing their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Hold Your Colour’ in 2005, which included monster tracks ‘Slam’, 'Fasten Your Seatbelt’, 'Tarantula’ and ‘Blood Sugar’, Pendulum became instantly known for their unique blend of high-tempo productions and energetic shows. Led by Rob Swire and bandmates Gareth McGrillen and Paul Harding, the album went platinum and the band set about taking the world by storm.
By the time 2008’s platinum-selling follow up ‘In Silico’ dropped, Pendulum was one of electronic music’s biggest live acts, the album spawning the now iconic productions ‘Granite’ and ‘Propane Nightmares’.
Headlining stages at festivals worldwide, including Download, Sziget, Creamfields, Coachella, Rock Am Ring, Reading/Leeds and T in the Park, Pendulum’s momentum continued to grow with their biggest UK headlining tour to date before an audience in excess of 50,000 people, including two massive sold out shows at Brixton Academy, later released as a full live CD/DVD.
Releasing their third studio album in 2010, ‘Immersion’ shot straight to #1 in the UK album charts and featured guest appearances on the album from metal giants In Flames, The Prodigy's Liam Howlett and Porcupine Tree’s Steve Wilson. The album was their biggest release to date and featured their highest charting single ‘Watercolour’ (#5), as well as ‘Witchcraft’ and ‘The Island’.
By this point the band had well and truly exploded into the mainstream, cemented further by a pair of huge live shows at London’s Wembley Arena and another summer of shows at festivals all over the UK and Europe, including the penultimate slot on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, and headlining slots at Download, T In The Park, V Festival and Bestival.
After hitting the peak of their success, the guys decided to take a break from the band and Pendulum went on hiatus, to the shock of their fans, shifting their focus instead onto their Knife Party project.
Fast forward to 2016, and with Knife Party reaching a similarly dizzying headline status, Rob and Gareth played a huge one off show with Pendulum at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival. Cementing their place at the top table of electronic music with a joint headline slot that combined both Pendulum and Knife Party performances, the show featured all the fan favourites and special guest appearances from Deadmau5 and Tom Morello.
Releasing their greatest hits package in 2018 along with a remix album - ‘The Reworks’ it was a closing out of all of the bands previous chapters, paving the way for something new.
Featuring 13 colossal Pendulum songs, from early ‘Hold Your Colour’ single ‘Streamline’ to ‘Immersion’s’ ‘Witchcraft’ and ‘Watercolour’, artists such as Skrillex, Noisia and Moby, were eager to contribute their remixes.
Their Trinity DJ shows in 2021 saw the three founding members of Pendulum - Rob Swire (Anscenic), Gareth McGrillen (Speed) and Paul Harding (El Hornet) perform together for the first time in a decade, allowing them to road test their new music from the ‘Elemental’ EP, with a full return for the live band in 2022 seeing them perform all over Europe including a surprise performance at Reading and Leeds Festival.
With a new chapter of live music, including rescheduled Brixton Academy shows rescheduled to the iconic Alexandra Palace, and more releases coming soon, Pendulum look set to make a triumphant return to the spotlight where they rightfully belong in 2023.
