I didn't go to this festival show, but I saw him at the Mission Ballroom a few years ago and the show was great! Amazing player.

Absolutely amazing, he jammed so hard. People were leaving and I couldn’t fathom, their loss our win. Moved closer and this man played his soul out on his birthday!!!

Shoutout Cat for putting on a good show. I wish he would’ve brought out someone like at other cites but he probably didn’t have anyone to bring and that’s cool. I wanted him to do more deep cut songs and show off his bag by playing some joints he worked on with other artist like Kendrick with Tu Pimp A Butterfly or Gambino with Because of The Internet, however he still rocked out like a boss. He played the popular songs and he had a good convo with the crowd during the performance. I hope he forever gets his flowers. He’s an amazing artist.

10th show seeing thundercat and he is always gonna thundercat it up but this was the same show from Last year at the eastern just less momentum and no new songs

Chillest man alive and I can’t wait to here his slap some more of his bass in Az again soon. 9000/10 would recommend seeing his concerts.

This is a little embarrassing to say, but this concert was so good that I literally shit my pants half way through. Needless to say it was exported out but man was it fun while I was there

Thundercat is always Thundercat, but the light and sound engineers WERE ON POINT!!! Seamless show. Everything blended well. Mix was perfect.

Would have loved to hear more of his songs but he has a love for the fans that’s evident and he even came out again when the crowd chanted encore. Really a cool experience and insanely talented artist

Second time seeing this talented musician. Just as good as the first time except for the fact that his set had to get cut down due to weather.

great live performance. great vocalist and the band was amazing. a lot of the songs are heavy on the electric guitar and it got a little redundant.

This gets a high rating because Thundercat is amazing. Through and through he is pound for pound one of the most talented people musicians I have ever seen. If there were two things that weren’t great it was the mix on his bass. It was so low for the first few songs one could barely hear it. The other, was how disappointing the crowd in the balcony at the Orpheum was. It’s strange when on the floor people are dancing , standing, and moving as they should, but the people in the balcony aren’t ? So weird. It was a wasted opportunity to move to some excellent cosmic groove provided by Thundercat. All I could think was that this looks really bad on Vancouver as a city. Those sitters didn’t deserve him .

After a struggle trying to see for the last 4 years I finally did. It was even better due to the freakout that it was gonna get cancelled. Wonderful show and everything I needed.

The sound sucked. It was hard to hear his playing. The low end was very muddy even though we could see his fingers going all over the place. I wish I had seen him in a smaller venue.

Thundercat and his band were terrific. They jammed so much and created an awesome vibe. I can’t dock points because of that, but the sound at the Senator was not good.

Thundercat put on an awesome show. Great close for the 2018 concert experiences. If you get the chance in 2019 get a ticket and go see him.

The latest album is unbelievable and he played every track last night. The band blows me away... keyboardist and drummer are top in the music industry. I feel so lucky to have seen them at the Commodore!

I was the first person in line because I got there two hours early just so I could be front row. When I finally got in I went to the merchandise and didn't even realize that Thundercat was standing right next to me. After I was done flipping out, he shook my hand and was very kool and chill about it. Gave me a picture

I would give the music a 5⭐, the opener along with the duration of Thundercat's set were disappointing. They ended way earlier than that venue allows.

Thundercat was absolutely phenomenal! However, his stand-up opener was awful. Seriously, his "jokes" were extremely offensive and he ended up getting booed off the stage. I recommend showing up late if you can to avoid that uncomfortable mess.

I waited 5 years to see Thundercat and it was worth every second. Such a cool guy and amazing performer. Literally sounds the same if not better live. I can't wait to see him again.
