About Apathy

Born to teenage parents in a working-class area of Connecticut, Apathy first discovered hip-hop at age five when his uncle played him Chaka Khan's 1984 song "I Feel for You" which featured a rap verse from Melle Mel. Instantly hooked, he began listening to rap incessantly, later soaking up the sounds of Gang Starr, Nas, and Organized Konfusion, all while penning his own rhymes. The legacy began...
