About The BoNgo HoP

After years in Cali Colombia working as a dj, promoter at the Republica Calicuta concert series, sound digger, journalist & trumpetist Etienne Sevet started to compose and produce his own music. A blend of many diferent sounds and influences, from afro beat, to colombian costa music, west indies, west african, jazz...his music has no ambition but to build bridges, help booties shake and let emotions flow out. From his early years, growing up under the influence of a strong african presence in Bordeaux, France, to his Colombian years and his present life in Lyon, plus a few years experiencing the Paris-Chateau d'eau Congolose vibes, not to mention countless trips, it's a whole life of music that took shape with his Satingarona LP series and now the upcoming La ñapa.
