Being back among midwesterners was a balm for my soul! I forget how nice they are when I've been away for awhile. The venue is amazing- starting the day with Mass was wonderful. It's always a bit of a challenge trying to find a welcoming parish when you're traveling. Having the venue host Mass made me feel at home from the very start. As for JigJam, well, you can't go wrong if you choose to attend one of their shows...or, two, as the case-may-be. You won't find a nicer group of guys. And, they are gifted musicians to-a-man! One unique element to their act is that you're never going to see the same set twice. One time you get an a cappella rendering of a traditional piece...the next you get a duet of a pop song you've never heard them sing before. Don't pass up the chance to see these gents should they come your way!
