The event was great and we really enjoyed the quartet and their skills. Smalls was clean, warm and a perfect intimate venue.

The concert with Ari Hoenig's trio was amazing! It's such a privilege to be able to enjoy those talents at close range. Went with my wife and we had a wonderful time. Highly appreciated and recommend. - jk

Phenomenal, breathtaking music. Hoenig has grown into a one of a kind artist, able to leap from meter to meter within a song and transmogrify the texture and mood, without losing his place in the form, and then land solidly back where he started, leaving you feel like you've gone on a journey into sheer rapture and back again. And with all that, he has the most delicate touch and the softest ppp dynamic of any drummer I've ever heard. I last saw him about 15 years ago and he was amazing then. But now he is truly a marvel, one of the all time greats. I hope to never miss another NYC performance ever again!
