SR Will

Defying the odds to pursue his love for music that spans its vast spectrum, SR (Storm Rider) Will has carved out his own melody-driven soul sound by merging urban hip-hop with Midwest Gospel. His passion for creative compositions is the foundation upon which his musical abilities have taken root thus exposing him as a vibrant Singer-Songwriter, Composer, and Producer whose unique rhymes are abound with thematic explorations. The professionalism of his craft can be detected in the inspired manner in which he infuses every song with organic textures to generate grounding yet exciting listening experiences.

Born Le’Andrew Pearson, SR Will's foundation in Faith and Music begins his parents. He would later take these pillars and turn his focus to writing and recording, fueled by the art’s genuine capacity to inspire, heal, and unite. Having weathered many storms in life from racism and addiction to family mistrust, his moniker Storm Rider was born out of his steadfast determination to succeed and not let the turmoil of the world be the end of him; they are just storms along his path to eternity. Staying true to the idea that storytelling comes from the heart, he authentically shares his testimonies with the hope of helping others push through their storms and get to their blessings.

Inspired by his Black Gospel roots, SR Will wears his Neo-Soul influences like Musiq Soulchild, Anthony Hamilton, and Big K.R.I.T. on his sleeve. Since arriving on the music scene in 2019, he has recorded and released 14 singles including Centerpiece, his most successful song that landed him on Trackstarz Music Blog and Gospel Grind Radio as well as All Rise, a song about multiethnic unity released in the wake of racial injustices around the world. SR Will has also been blessed to be a part of half a dozen shows with more appearances lined up. He is currently working on an EP which is set to be released before the end of 2021.

When he is not working on his music, SR Will enjoys watching movies, hanging out with his kids, and volunteering within the community. Originally from Washington D.C., he is now doing life in Northeastern Ohio.
