You could feel the love in the air, from the artists and to the artists.
Loius Baker was outstanding in his solo performance and again joining Fat Freddy's Drop on stage.
The recognition and respect for every aspect of the evening was very sincere.
Absolute professionals that have the ability to free the soul.

Everything was amazing, aside from people smoking in the crowd. Just because it’s outdoors, the complete disregard for being in close proximity to non-smokers (and children) is just selfish.

Internationally regarded as one of the world’s finest live draws, Fat Freddy’s Drop may have been around since the early Noughties, but they are truly the most modern of institutions. The New Zealanders have navigated their way from the incubator of sunshine reggae through a colour-saturated field of soul psychedelia before swerving onto a desolate Detroit superhighway at night.
