Perry’s voice being what it is, this was such a great show. The musicianship was world class! Lost a half star because Perry couldn’t stop talking down to the Omaha crowd. It was, how the kids say, very cringe. Pete, Mike, and Steven couldn’t have made me any happier. Thanks guys!

Between them canceling a tour, changing venues within this tour and never never releasing a promised album I just didn’t know what to expect. I must say they pulled it off nicely and the show was great. Perry was Perry with his uncoordinated movements/dancing, whatever you wanna call it and his indistinguishable voice using major effects. It sounded like vintage Porno and it brought me back to the first time I saw them in the 90’s.

Acerca De Porno for Pyros
Porno For Pyros is the band Perry Farrell started after Jane's Addiction first split up. Drummer Stephen Perkins came with him from Jane's Addiction to the new band, where they were joined by guitarist Peter DiStefano and bassist Martyn Lenoble (who was replaced by Mike Watt on Good God's Urge). They released only two albums, 1993's self-titled Porno For Pyros and 1996's Good God's Urge. The band's sound wasn't too dissimilar from Jane's Addiction, showing Perry's great influence in both projects. They split up in 1997, with Perry pursuing solo projects and even reuniting Jane's Addiction to tour and eventually record another album.
