Even tho I was up in the nosebleeds, this was a great show. My first time seeing Metallica live. U can tell they love wat they do and they give us everything the whole time they're up there. The venue on the other hand, failed miserably with the experience of parking and leaving on the shuttles. No organization whatsoever. The blind leading the blind and no explanation to the concert goers. No signage or anyone directing patrons where to go. They broke records in Syracuse but that's no excuse for how terribly all that was executed. I'm glad the show was so great because that almost cost me the experience. Love u Metallica! 🖤🤘🏾

The whole round stage is for outdoor venues where everyone is floor tickets. The higher into stadium you got the worse the sound quality. They spent 10 minutes every have hour to reposition drum set and band. So out of 2 hours about 20 minutes the band actually faced you. The round screens made most views blocked of stage or portion of it. Unless your on the floor you had to watch these screens to see anything. Opening acts you could hear the music but hardly hear the lyrics. If it was on a normal stage setup would have been a great show. This donut shaped stage was to large for bands to use effectively to make everyone feel like they are at the show and not just watching it at home.

The concert was great, although James sang out of tune quite a lot. Sound was pretty good, at least compared to that of the supporting acts. I am sure the supporting acts (Mammoth WVH and Architects) were good, but their sound was absolutely terrible. One big blob of sounds, making it virtually impossible to recognize the bass, the drums, or properly hear the vocals. Multiple times I *saw* that someone was singing, but could not hear the vocals at all, even when I was focusing on it. How disrespectful to the supporting acts to mix their sound so terribly.

Amazing show one of the best nights of my life. I might have to or these posted so sorry if I do, but seeing this band I am now 46 has been a 36 year wait for me but James and Kirk and well Dave mustaine are the reasons I picked up guitar at 13 years old and now have been playing for 33 years, but recently I have been feeling very down and even pondering ending it all but hearing James say what he did during fade to black really touched me on a personal level. I have since gotten some help now have a weekly counseling and a phychiatrist as James was right I wasn’t thinking about other people it would affect and I really don’t have many people but a few so James I am sure will never see this but to hear those words come out of the mouth from one of my hero’s made me change my mind and not go through with it. I loved every minute of the show even the opening acts I will never forget that night and ordered the cd from that show so I will be able to relive it and hear that message anytime I might need too

I SWORE over 25yrs ago when this man introduced me to heavy metal at the age of 10, with this band, that I was going to take him to see them live. Fast forward to Aug 2022. I got to surprise him with tickets yesterday for his birthday and take him. The show was phenomenal. It was one of the best shows I've seen and we both had an amazing time. Metallica never lets us down. The set list was fantastic. The effects and fireworks were awesome. Loved seeing these guys again after 20 years. Sound was amazing. Wish I had looked earlier to see what the stage setup was. I spent the first three songs staring at the back of the band because they went out to the very front of the stage. Songs were great, would have liked some different ones, but Dirty Window sounded so good live with a better snare sound and A SOLO!!!! OMG!!! And they played Ride The Lightning! Kirk's guitar solo really sounded perfect, very tight and accurate picking. Hearing Master of Puppets all the way through was also fantastic. So many good songs by the best band in the world would have enjoyed whatever they played. My only regret is that I didn't pick a better place to stand. Too many rude and/or drunk people trying to shove their way to the front. "oh but I was standing right there...oh I'm just looking for my friend..." Stupid lies by stupid people. Band was great, crowd could have been better

Last night's show at Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas was amazing. I haven't seen Metallica since they played Brown Field (San Diego) in July 31, 1994. It was by far the worst venue I have ever been to, but Metallica made up for the terrible location (literally a brown field - just dirt). They closed with "Enter Sandman" to a capacity crowd. None of the seats were bad; Lars' drum kit was on a revolving pedestal and the band faced all directions equally. Well worth the cost of tickets and the 33-hour drive from Capitan, New Mexico.

AN UNBELIEVABLE CONCERT!!! Metallica and the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra blended together perfectly as they performed an updated Setlist, which included older classics from the original S&M of 20 years ago along with selected fan favorites covering the years since. An historic event as this concert was only the 2nd event ever held at the just constructed $1.5 billion, 18,000 seat Chase Center in San Francisco, only a mile from Oracle Park and on the Bay. The venue's seating design allows for reasonably good viewing-even from the higher "nose bleed" seating sections. However, many fans commented on the "steepness" of the steps going down to their seats, as well as the climb up the steps when leaving their seats to go to the main lobby. The sightlines and audio were superb for excellent viewing and hearing from every seat in the venue of this performance "in the round", and enhanced by a slowly "rotating" stage, allowing everyone in attendance an equal opportunity to see and hear. Their were many surprises and firsts as this over 3 hour concert unfolded, which included frontman James Hetfield-without a guitar-singing by himself as the Symphony accompanied him. A "tribute" song, specially written to honor the memory of the late Cliff Burton, was superbly performed by a member of the Symphony. Finally, Metallica and the Symphony teamed together to flawlessly perform a song that highlighted the very best of both. As usual, the light show and computer graphics were mind-blowing!! And the highly difficult task of getting a good mix of Metallica and the Symphony went without a hitch, and the sound quality was outstanding. Metallica gave a trademark "indescribable" performance and had the tremendously appreciative fans in awe of their hometown heroes. The entire concert was professionally filmed and recorded for a 1 night only showing in over 3,000 theaters nationwide, scheduled for Friday evening, October 11th, and tickets can be preordered now. For those fans who were not one of the lucky ones to have witnessed this once in a lifetime event, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND viewing the movie on October 11th. I will NEVER FORGET THIS SHOW!!!

Metallica was amazing!!! They always deliver a great show! However I reserved a star due to the excessive long wait for them to take stage. Doors opened at 6pm...show was advertised to start at 7:30pm.... band didn’t take stage until 9pm. So from roughly 6:30-9pm we had to listen to the local radio DJ and very unfunny Jim Breuer..... everyone in my section was about ready to leave due to the stupid sing alongs and name that tune crap from the preshow lackeys. We want Metallica, not 2.5 hours of listening to the radio and a washed up college comic.

This was my 11th time seeing Metallica and as always it was a great performance. Yhe stage set up and gimmicks were cool and things like the little drones during Moth into Flame was very cool. My gripes are with the setlist and how rigid they have become. I'm not sure 5 or 6 songs from Hardwired was justified especially when you leave out Spit out the Bone. It was cool Rob and Kirk jammed on Dyers Eve but overall the setlist killed it for me. The supposed "treats" like Seek, Harvester and Unforgiven I've seen many times. If this is your first time seeing them I'm sure you would be stoked but having seen them this many times it didnt excite me.

So I have nothing against Jim Breuer and I’m actually kind of a fan of his comedy, but omfg I just wanted to strangle him at the show. Here’s why: so pretty much what happened was that Jim Breuer came out and did some comedy, trivia and shit like that to get us hyped for Metallica. But the only major problem with it is that it went on for hours. I was getting so damn antsy and pissed off in my seat wishing Jim would just go tf away and that Metallica would just come on. Finally after like 2 hours Metallica finally came on and they put on an absolutely incredible show. A little disappointed that they didn’t play Wherever I May Roam, Fade To Black, Fuel and The Memory Remains but besides that it was a kick ass show

The show was awesome! This was the second time in 3 days that I have seen them. The first time I had the Hardwired package and the next time I had the Whiplash package. Both packages were well worth the money. I enjoyed the show just as much the second time as I had a completely different experience. The first night I had the sound board earphones and had the best seats in the house the second night I was on the floor right by where James was coming off stage. Food was great and different in Idaho and SLC. Crew was awesome as well!

Great show, the guys still as heavy and awesome as ever. The entire crowd s inging, incredibly charged atomphere. Philly knows how to show love. Opening act was stupid and I believe that a band like Metallica can afford to, and should be promoting other newer smaller bands. Give a band a chance, to make it. Anyway, I've been a Metallica fan since 1983, and was as psyched to see them now as I was back then. Keep it going guys! Uno de los mejores conciertos que he visto nunca!! Dos horas y media de descarga musical empaquetado con un espectacular despliegue técnico. Solo eche en falta The Unforgiven y Wherever I May Roam. Musicalmente me sorprendió la contundencia que esta gente tiene en directo. Con la parte técnica no fui capaz de cerrar la boca en un solo momento. Asombroso. No es que sean de primera división, es que es otro deporte!!!! Uno de esos conciertos que sin duda no puedes perderte te guste o no el grupo. Los volveré a ver!! Vivan los conciertos!!!!

After 36 years of being a huge fan, I finally had the opportunity to attend one of their concerts. They did not disappoint. They all definitely brought their A game to Bush stadium. From James's thundering riffs to Kirk's blistering solos and Lars's bone rattling drum solo in which the entire band took part left me in aw and wondering why I waited so long. Let's not forget Robert who seemed to somehow channel the spirit of the late, great Cliff Burton as he payed homage to Metallica' s original bassist and did so flawlessly. I can only hope they make another album so I can see them on their next tour.

Great performance. My main gripe is with the venue and security. Security getting in was a shambles! There where people going through 2 at a time... I set the metal detector off but the limited staff where too busy checking bags, I even waited for a pat down but got moved along! Also during the concert people kept standing up in the seating area blocking the view for the rows behind them causing arguments and confrontations which the security staff turned a blind eye to.My last complaint about the venue is that up in the gods you have to lean forward to get a descent view (of the stage in the middle) which gave me a bad back ache after over 2 hours.Metallica where great live despite being half hour late which meant a lot of people had to leave early to catch trains home but I felt it was lacking in stage props/special effects especially as it was such a long concert. The hanging cubes which they cast videos on where cool but kept getting lowered blocking the view from up top which got annoying.I did like the round stage in the middle and the fact that the band faced in all directions and kept moving around to face everyone though.

Loved the show! Had a lot of fun and it was a great experience. My only issue is how my friend and I possessed numbered red wristbands for access, and we stood waiting in the heat. One woman apparently had a medical issue while waiting (don't know if it's related to the heat). The stadium could have taken better care of the waiting guests, by supplying water or even water vendors. Also, they started to let people in by number but eventually security just let everyone in and had to reorganize the people later. Lot of fun, but management could have been better.

As always, in true Metallica fashion, they put on an amazing event and show. This tour offered special event packages which allowed fans access to the venue through a dedicated "Through the Never" gate (no waiting in long lines), the Spit Out the Bone" buffet, exclusive tour merchandise, and more. If you're a Seattle metal fan, you probably recognized Steve Migs from KISW, who introduced Metallica - his excitement, along with that of the 50,000+ crowd, was to the moon. The setlist ranged from the Kill Em All track "Whiplash" to songs off their recent album, Hardwired...to Self Destruct, and classics like "Master of Puppets," "Battery," and "Seek and Destroy" in the mix. The heat of the pyrotechnics, massive stage, and the and grandiose feel of the Clink, paired with a phenomenal setlist, created a fun and intense atmosphere for the entirety of the show. The high energy performance included a great tribute to their late bassist, Cliff Burton, with Rob Trujillo jamming out "Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)" with images of Cliff playing on the screen. Should you have been at the front of the pit or the sound booth, you may have caught a smile or high five from Cliff's father, Ray, prior to the show. Watching Kirk Hammett shred solos live is awe-inspiring, nailing every note with precision (the solo in "One" was one of many memorable moments, it gets me every time). James Hetfield led the crowd in welcoming all first-time Metallica concert-goers to the Metallica Family, including a 10-year-old boy and his uncle in the front row of the pit. Metallica continues to amaze, and their performance in Seattle was nothing short of epic. Just before leaving the stage, Lars Ulrich commented to the massive crowd at Century Link Field, "we'll be back real soon, we're just getting started." Well, Lars, I couldn't agree more, and we look forward to seeing you soon. Thank you, Metallica. Until next time...

This was my 8th time to see Metallica. They were spectacular as always. In great form set list playing classics and new favorites off Hardwired to Self destruct. They always leave us wanting more. They played for about two hours. I would have been happy to stay longer. James had great banter with the crowd. So to sum up it was great, The openers Local H and Avenge 7 fold as well as Mic Master Mike also were great. I hope Metallica is back on tour again in less than 8 years. Definitely the best band in the world.
