About The Reggaskas
A female-fronted band playing original songs with a unique but cheeky Ska/Reggae vibe.
A seven piece reggae/ska band, with a strong rhythm section of drums, bass, guitar and keys accompanied by a lively brass section of saxophone, trumpet. Performing original unique songs and a few covers for fun, with an energetic reggae/ska vibe which guarantee to entertain the crowd.
The first single, 2014’s ‘Who’s the Daddy’ was a roaring success. We produced an uplifting reggae/ska vibe which really put a smile on your face and a spring in your dance step. The debut album ‘Long Way Home Album’ had an amazing response and great feedback. With thirteen original songs, we feel ‘Long Way Home’ delivers where it matters most and touches on life, love, and sadness with that unique element of Reggaskas fun. Their album is available now to buy direct from their website or for all major online stores.
Spending much performing at festivals, they have developed quite a following. During a set at the festival, They were introduced live on BBC Music Introducing as their undiscovered new band and have been featured on BBC Radio and many other radio station many times.
The Reggaskas are making some big waves on the South Devon coast and definitely a band to see.
