About this concert
Slow Runner (aka Michael Flynn) will be performing a special show on the piano at Parkside Church, (45 Moultrie Street, downtown Charleston). Accompanied by longtime collaborators/friends Ron Wiltrout and Erin Norton, Michael will perform songs from throughout his career. Called 'a pioneering solo artist' (American Songwriter), with songs 'as catchy as they are clever' (RELIX Magazine), Slow Runner's music has been featured in TV shows like Grey's Anatomy and commercials for companies like Kia and Emerson. This return to Charleston promises to be a special night in a beautiful, historic setting.

Slow Runner is the big red compost bucket into which Asheville area singer/songwriter Michael Flynn dumps all of his personal creative output, with much help from talented friends. Then the internet ignores it as it slowly breaks down into the building blocks of music and poetry, which he then uses for meme fertilizer.
