Tryani Collective Biography
Renowned for their high-energy performances, Bristol-based Tryani Collective fuse intricate vocal harmonies with explosive percussion, transforming lyrics into rhythmic, melodic motifs that ignite dancefloors and enrapture audiences with hypnotic grooves.
Drawing on a rich tapestry of musical influences, Tryani craft original polyphonic compositions that are both driving and immersive. Their unique blend of precision and passion—shaped by members from acclaimed UK projects such as Spindle Ensemble, Solana, Soma Soma, and Tezeta—has earned them a fast-growing, devoted following.
Effortlessly shifting between festival main stages and stripped-back acoustic sets, the collective deftly balances complexity with cohesion. Since forming in 2022, they’ve lit up the main stage at Fire in the Mountain and performed at Shambala, Starry Skies, and Fanny’s Meadow. They’ve also supported Bab L’ Bluz (Real World Records) and become staples of Bristol’s vibrant music scene, with standout shows at iconic venues like The Gallimaufry.
