Year-after-year, the Heron continues to delight audiences with an eclectic mix of musical genres. Our foundation began with Americana and old time mountain music, yet through the years, our lineups have expanded to also include funk, jam, soul, roots-rock, reggae, Celtic, afrobeat, zydeco and everything in between!
And, while our Heron community has grown, the mission of the festival remains the same:
Present a diverse assortment of original music from regional and national artists
Create a collaborative space where all are encouraged to participate and interact
Foster a cooperative and positive environment for celebration

PA LINE Biography
Born from the vibrant indie scene and fueled by grassroots inspiration, PA Line is a band of seasoned musicians who have dedicated themselves to mastering their craft. Their distinctive sound is a seamless blend of passionate vocal harmonies and gritty, infectious rhythms, allowing them to carve out a unique path in today's diverse musical landscape.
At the helm, as chief songwriter/lyricist and composer is Trever Stribing, whose contributions to lead vocals, guitar, and percussion provide a solid foundation for the band's sound. Alongside him is the soulful Lucas Honig, who adds depth with his vocals and bass lines, creating a rich musical tapestry. The rhythm-infused Griffin Brady enhances their sound with his exceptional multicultural mastery of specialized percussion, injecting energy and vitality into every performance with the utilization of authentic hand-crafted djembe's, conga's and a vast array of world percussion from Ghana. The versatile Pete Xavier completes the ensemble with his melodic contributions on violin and mandolin, designed and built in his professional luthierie [Electric Violin Luthierie]. Along with his vocal harmonies, he enriches the band's sound with layers of complexity.
Together, these artists forge a distinctive style of True-Grit Americana Folk music that resonates with listeners on a profound level.
