Fever Rouge Biography

Emerging from the vibrant Brighton alternative rock scene, 4 piece Fever Rouge are building a real buzz. With a unique eclectic blend of Alternative Rock, Indie-gaze with flavours of post punk and funk.
Fever Rouge’s influences range from King Krule to Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone age and Gorillaz in a modern twist with introspective lyrics and unbridled energy and an infectious live show that is nothing short of a perfect chaos.

The band consists of vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Ollie Hughes, bass enthusiast Alain De Gouveia and the ‘how is he human’ metronome Oli Mooney.

In the past year Fever Rouge have played over 40 shows across the UK, embarking on 2 UK tours, with festival appearances at Pub in The Park, London Bridge Summer by The River, Alternative Escape, New Music Nights. More highlights include sold out shows at the Prince Albert and Green Door store. 2024 has seen Fever Rouge support many notable established and Up-and-coming acts such as The Molotovs, Mouth Culture, Humane the Moon, Die Twice, Aqualine, Pleasure Inc, Canned Pineapple and McFly. Fever Rouge have graced some amazing venues such as, Exeter Phoenix, Amersham Arms, The Grace, Komedia and many more.

The Indie grid stated their debut project 'Can You See?' '‘Redefines Alternative Rock Energy’' and in 2025 Fever Rouge are kicking on with a new 7 track offering titled 'Feed The Villain' releasing April 4th, Accompanied by a string of shows in Brighton and London and a 12 date UK tour in April and a slot at Wilderness Festival. Their newest single ‘You’ve Been Warned’ released 31 January, followed by 'Feed The Villain' and 'Weatherman' are all accompanied by music videos and mark a growth in maturity in songwriting and subject matter, covering all senses of love, lust, deep melancholia and ecstasy. 2025 promises to be a real break out year for the band.
