For the first time ever, Craig Klonowski performs his original songs live — a night of tender ballads, bruised folk-pop, and quietly unspoken things finally put to melody.
Join Craig at The Duplex for an intimate evening of music and storytelling, featuring songs from his debut album Comeback Year, recent singles like Wreck of a Man, Promises, and Milestones, plus a few unreleased tracks he’s just now ready to let into the world.

Craig Klonowski crafts music from the raw, authentic moments of life's deepest shifts. Following his acclaimed debut album, Comeback Year, Craig continues to explore themes of heartbreak, renewal, & personal growth through intimate storytelling & evocative melodies.
Drawing inspiration from his own experiences—most notably his emotional journey through separation after 15 years with his husband—Craig's songs resonate with vulnerability & truth. His music, described as both melancholic & hopeful, blends indie-folk textures with atmospheric guitars, warm synths, & soulful vocals inviting listeners into a shared emotional landscape.
Influenced by the storytelling tradition of Johnny Cash & the emotional depth of Adele, Craig’s evolving sound includes subtle touches of indie rock, bluegrass strings, & even theremin, skillfully brought to life with producer Nick Anton. Beyond his heartfelt lyrics & expressive voice, Craig’s identity as a New York City middle-school music teacher deeply informs his approach, adding layers of empathy & sincerity to his songwriting.
