Team Kentucky Derby Week Kick-Off Event Join us to kick off Derby Week this Saturday! We will have Ollie Otter and Smokey Bear there for side-by-side for photo opps in the kids area. When: Saturday, April 26 Time: noon – 5:00p ET Where: Capitol South Lawn What: festival hosted by the Governor’s Office to kick off the week of Derby This event has live musical performances, food trucks, a farmers market, games, crafts, and Commonfest for the adults – where attendees purchase beer and spirits from dozens of Kentucky breweries, wineries, and craft distillers. They also plan to have close to 70 Kentucky artisan vendors on site.
