7 HRS AHEAD Biography
Hailing from the foot of the Appalachians, 7 HRS AHEAD is an alternative rock band from Central Pennsylvania. Taking inspiration from artists like Sum 41, the Killers, and Sublime, 7HRS AHEAD is making melodic and hard-hitting alt rock with a sound that is fresh and exciting.
The group formed in 2023 when Kevin Lusk (lead vocalist) and Matt Meckley (lead guitarist) began jamming and writing music while deployed overseas. After returning home, they were joined by Dylan Painter (drums) and Chris Pearson (Bass). Matt and Dylan have been playing and writing music together since the 8th grade. The name "7 HRS AHEAD" derives from the time difference between the Pennsylvania and the Middle-East.
7 HRS AHEAD's core mission is to bring you (figuratively) to a cold South Central PA garage enjoying drinks with your best friends, late nights speeding across the turnpike, and a mountain hike through the forest with sunbeams of electric guitar and crash cymbals
