MAURICE is a once-in-a-generation country artist with a voice forged by fire. Raised in foster care and group homes since birth, he overcame a turbulent childhood and years of street performing in New Orleans to become a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. His raw emotion, powerful lyrics, and genre-blending style — rooted in country, soul, and Southern grit — have captivated fans across the country. MAURICE writes, produces, and performs all his own music, playing guitar, trombone, and piano with fearless authenticity. His debut EP Country Like This drops May 6 2025.
