Paper Sister

Paper Sister is a four-piece post-punk shoegaze band from Austin, Texas influenced by the likes of Smashing Pumpkins, PJ Harvey, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Pixies, At the Drive-In, The Sundays,
Mazzy Star, and many others. They blend heavy layered guitars with dreamy and aggressive vocals to create melancholic visceral ballads that are both evocative of the 90s and uniquely their own. Paper Sister has been featured on KUTX, 101X Homegrown, KOOP Radio, and in The Austin Chronicle. They have opened for acts such as Sarah and the Sundays, Kitty Coen, and Caleb De Casper.
