Award-winning Wisconsin band Luma Knotty brings their acoustic trio to the 10th Annual Art in the Park at Voyageur Park on Saturday, June 28th (rain date 6/29). Headlining the all-day event, Luma Knotty showcases their illuminated blend of guitar-driven funk, rock, and reggae, with Ryan Patrick on guitar/vocals, Luis on Keys on keyboards, and Garrett Wons on saxophone. Come join us for the 10th Annual Art in the Park at Voyageur Park on Saturday, June 28th (rain date 6/29). This year we will continue our amazing kid’s art area, food truck rally and staying close to the Voyageur Park playground for this family-focused event. But we’ve listened to feedback and made some significant changes!
-> Expanding the event to be 9 hours (10:00a-7:00p).
-> Using the fresh, new Nelson Family Pavilion for:
——> An all day music lineup from 12:00p through 7:00p, featuring @Luma Knotty as the headliner!
——> Expanded children’s face painting and art fun area.
——> Selling some fresh brews from @Cocoon Brewing.
-> Showcasing the amazing art of our youth (under 18), food/artisans, and all other artists in three separate blocks in the Voyageur Park Bowl.

Luma Knotty Biography
Luma Knotty is an award-winning Green Bay band known for their original blend of guitar-driven funk, rock, and reggae. Founded in 2017 by guitarist Ryan Patrick with the idea to fuse his musical roots in blues and funk rock with his training from McNally Smith College of Music and his years of experience in roots reggae. While writing original music/lyrics, Ryan wanted to create a more modern approach to reggae, setting the vibe using vibrant stage designs. Luma Knotty was awarded the 2019 and the 2024 WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) Award in the World category. Their first EP ‘Sounds of Earth’ was released in February 2020, their first full-length album 'Bring the Light' was released on January 30, 2023. Luma Knotty's third release, Favorite Dream, maintains the band's reggae roots while delving deeper into funk and rock, with infectious horn lines that elevate the band's raw energy, giving their sound a powerful, yet polished aura. The album was released September 25, 2024 and is available on all streaming platforms.
They have opened for such bands as: Mihali (Twiddle), EN Young (Tribal Seeds), Boulevards, Sophistafunk, and Baba Commandant & The Mandingo Ban. They play such events as: Mile of Music, Electric City Experience in Kaukauna, Oshkosh Main Street Music Fest, All Bands on Deck Music Festival in Green Bay, Badger State Brewing Summer Concert Series, Levitt Amp Stevens Point Music Series, Vibin' in the Pines Music Festival in Rosholt, World Naked Bike Ride Milwaukee, and Bastille Days in Milwaukee, as well as featured numerous times on 105.7 WAPL and WCZR Code Zero Radio.
