Colin Davis and Night People

ColinDavis and Night People is a concept band specializing in classic New Orleans funk and soul music,as well as an expanding repertoire of original material influenced by the treasured artists of the Crescent City. After working the New Orleans music scene as a side man in various projects for fifteen years, drummer/producer Colin Davis formed the band in 2017. Recently, CDNP has been hard at work writing and recording original material, developing a unique, hard hitting new sound ready to be shared with the fans we have missed so much! The repertoire also includes, but is not limited to, the genius of Allen Toussaint, Lee Dorsey, Dr. John, The Meters, Irma Thomas, Earl King, Ernie K-Doe, Willie Tee, Chocolate Milk and many more! Our guiding principle is to infuse the work of these legendary New Orleans artists with our own musical passion and style. Our mission is to move youmusically, emotionally, physicallyto celebrate together a shared and uniquely American New Orleans musical heritage.
