Enjoy spectacular Virginia wines and ciders, live entertainment, great food, and wonderful company. Bring your friends to “Uncork the Bloom” at the official kick-off of the 98th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival®. This outdoor festival is located in historic downtown Winchester, nestled between centuries old buildings and Virginia’s first pedestrian walking mall.
The admission fee includes a souvenir wine cup and a keepsake “Wine Passport” providing access to a tasting at each of our more than 20 Virginia wineries and cideries. Wine and Cider may also be bought by the glass or bottle – take it to a table to sip while relaxing to live entertainment, or send it to Wine Check to enjoy later at home. Don’t drink wine? Come with your friends anyway! Tasty cuisine is available from our local restaurants and food vendors and beer on tap is available for purchase. Our fantastic Sponsors have prizes and giveaways just for you. Come feel the fun and excitement downtown as we gear up for “The Bloom”!

Ryan Jewel Biography
Born and raised in Virginia, Ryan calls the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of the Shenandoah Valley home. He now resides in Nashville, Tennessee. His music career began in South Carolina at Clemson University, the hit the ground running when he arrived in Tennessee in 2017. Ryan quickly made an impact on the industry befriending and writing with some of Nashville's most respected artists and writers. He is fortunate enough to have shared the stage with and opening up shows for Marty Stuart, Lauren Alaina, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Little Texas, John Anderson, and Neal McCoy.
He released his first EP in 2016 "Up on the Drive", followed by his second EP "Heads, I'm Yours" in 2019, which was produced by world renowned studio musician and producer, Ilya Toshinsky. Most recently, Ryan released his 3rd album "Same Bar, Different Town" and first full length album, produced by John Hansbrough. Ryan's first radio single and title track, “Same Bar, Different Town” debuted on the MediaBase Charts and peaked at #51 on the MusicRow Charts. His follow up release “Owe It All To You” was released to radio on April 12th, 2024 and is peaked at #56. Ryan is preparing for the release of his 4th album set for the summer of 2025, starting with the single "Stuck In A Small Town" on May 16th.
