Laura Ray Biography
Laura Ray is a Royston, GA native with over 15 years of performance experience, and has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education (guitar emphasis). Laura spent her high school and college years performing regionally with her family bluegrass band, Exception To The Rule.
Laura moved to Nashville in 2012, where she has had the opportunity to perform guitar and banjo with a variety of artists, including award-winning bluegrass artist, Valerie Smith. In 2018, Laura felt a calling to start teaching music, and has been providing private guitar and banjo instruction to students of all ages ever since.
In addition to teaching lessons, Laura is currently performing with her band, Bluegrass Confidential, as well as Americana artist Aaron Burdett and American Idol alum Grace Leer.
