As part of the 68th San Francisco International Film Festival, we’re looking forward to celebrating Earth Day tomorrow with Field recordist & composer, Jessica Røki Kilroy as we present the film, Creek Sessions. Q&A and musical performance with songs from the soundtrack after film viewing. Earth day is every day! 🌏
Director Tahria Sheather follows Jessica Røki Kilroy’s efforts to raise awareness of the protection of Bears Ears National Monument. She records the sounds of the weather, landscape, and wildlife to create sounds to remember and music to rally behind.
See “The Creek Sessions” by Tahria Sheather in the Video Arts Gallery, located pre-security in the Mayor Edwin M. Lee International Terminal Departures Hall, and open daily from 8:00am to 10:00pm. Learn more about this month’s films at: https://bit.ly/Video-Arts
