Dr. Kelsey Miles is a Kansas City-based blues artist, harmonica player, and songwriter known for her powerful voice and compelling original music. A chemistry professor and award-winning musician, Kelsey blends powerful storytelling with a soulful blues sound that inspires self-discovery and expression. Her most recent album, I Am, explores themes of authenticity, while her upcoming release, Aware, offers a musical journey for people-pleasers seeking empowerment. Kelsey’s music invites listeners to be bold, curious, and embrace their authentic selves. Dr. Kelsey Miles is a Professor of Chemistry who picked up guitar, her first instrument ever, in 2014. The Ohio native moved to Wisconsin in 2013 and after earning her doctorate at University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017, became a full-time traveling musician and songwriter. Her love for teaching brought her back to the classroom where she teaches students at Avila University in Kansas City. She encourages everyone to be bold, be curious, and be themselves.
