Cultus Black was amazing! This was my first chance to finally see them live and they did not disappoint. I have one complaint and that is that I wish they had been allowed more time to play . I look forward to seeing them again someday soon.

Cultus Black is an aggressive hard-hitting musical project that identifies itself as a cult. Their music is unapologetic and intense, yet it is often marked with mesmerizing melodies that could draw in even the most cynical listener. Cultus Black is also identified by their strange appearance. The frontman who simply calls himself “L” stalks stages in ritualistic body paint as other cult members surround him in plain white masks meant to signify their cult status. Cultus Black is set to record their debut album with producer James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Hands Like Houses, Paramore) in Late August of 2019.
